Kona is cute and sporty!!!

I actually loved this car...it was just a little small for me (this why I gave 4 star vs. 5)...drove well and was super cute...I traded up for a Tucson due to size!!! If you want a cute little cross over that is great on gas and fun to drive I would definitely recommend the Kona!!!

Kona

My wife loves the car. She uses it with gusto although some of the features are hard to set up such as connecting her phone to the car. The rear hatch door has to be slammed in order to close fully. Otherwise it is what it is.

Great car love the design and color that's what made me buy it. The only down side is just It lacks power. It needs a bigger engine , then it would get a10 reading from me. I might trade it in at the end of the year because of lack of power

Good car except for the battery problem I had in the first three months, where it would not start until someone came out to jump start it. One time it was even parked in my garage overnight. . I had the battery checked by an independent dealer and it checked out as having full power.

Love the car, but....

Would not have leased if I had known the passenger front seat was not adjustable . Should have been told............Won't lease this model again based on the adjustability of the seat and the fact the sales person did not tell me. Also they forgot to put the antenna on when I picked it up.

Kona Rocks!

We really like our Hyundai Kona CUV. The style is sweet. The red paint is beautiful. It has a bit of a sparkle to it. It drives great. The turning ratio is very appreciated. The only draw back worth mentioning is the interior noise while driving. On all but newly paved roads it is very load. On the highway you have to turn the sound of whatever you are listening to way up to hear it.

Nice Car for the money - rear compartment could be bigger. Ride is smooth, mpg is reasonable, road noise is a bit loud if rear seats are down. Responsive and sufficient power. Nice car for my daily commute

To limited to choose options.

Vehicle is like a small compact suv, not the middle size vehicle for a new family. Good commuting vehicle, two people only. Trunk space with seats up is small, With two people, sometimes the food does not fit that we buy, have to use seat area. Do not drive it much, but mpg seem good, 27 city at best, and 37 highway. Have not made long trips yet. Cruise control does drift almost 5 mph depending on hills. Have the SEL model, and would have paid for other options, but not available by car model ! Being forced to buy a turbo engine for more options is down right criminal ! Overall car is good, but dealership is a worse experience. Sales person was Great ! Rest of dealership destroyed my faith and trust.

I love the looks of the Kona but not enough space to load everything needed. Love the lights at night they will automatically dim. Has enough room for dog cage to put in it for dog shows. Has a nice sunroof.

Exceeded Expectations. Very Satisfied. Great Deal.

Stylish. Reasonably priced. Performs well in all conditions. Unlikely to find a better deal than a Hyundai Value Edition anywhere. Included multiple safety features work great, provide feeling of security, and are great with insurance companies. Sound system and interior lighting could use a little upgrading, but accent headlights, front grill, and patterned cloth interior make for unique styling. Have had no issues with this car.

fun car

This is a great little car. It gets very good mileage, comfortable for me to commute, looks sharp, and has all the accessories I need. I especially like the lane correct feature and the braking system. It is not a car for long legged people and the back seat does not have a lot of leg room. But for me and 2 elementary grandkids it fits perfectly.

Black Kona/Black Interior

The vehicle is pure eye candy. There is very little storage space. Also, the car stumbles between the first 2 gears making it a little annoying to drive in the city. This thing is a beast on the highway though. Superb acceleration past 2nd gear.

An excellent vehicle

The 1.6 turbo Kona is a well equipped vehicle with excellent power, handling, and gas mileage. Indeed the gas mileage is much better than that reported by Hyundai. My only concern with the vehicle are the reports of some owners of an overheated transmission. I researched this topic and found that this can occur in dual clutch transmissions (DCTs) that do not have torque converters. This causes clutch to become overheated during slow speed or bumper-to-bumper traffic. In further research of other vehicles with DCT, I discovered that some of the vehicles have torque converters and do not suffer from the overheating problems in heavy, slow-moving traffic. That begs the question, why didn’t Hyundai consider this option in its design of the 1.6 turbo?

Amazing Vehicle

I have had zero issues with the car other than the android auto. The car performance has been impeccable other than that. Gets amazing gas mileage, AWD has gotten me around safely in terrible weather conditions, LOVE the safety features! Its small so very convenient for parking. For a single person who doesnt need a lot of car space i dont think there is a better car out there. However the backseat is nearly nonexistent. If you frequently travel with people in your backseat this probably isnt the car for you. There isnt enough leg room for anyone bigger than 5'0 or more than 120lbs. Works fine for me because its just me and my dog. Every thing else is second to none.
