Decent vehicle

This is a decent vehicle, it rides well. It is good on gas. Stereo system is very good. I only have a couple of issues, not a lot of room in the back seat for more than 2 people and when I back up and then place in drive it will sputter.

love my kona

I have not regretted a day purchasing this 2018 Kona. Its a joy to drive and I have gotten lots of positive remarks about it. Its a smaller suv, but its just me in the car unless my dog, bella, jumps in. Great handling. had to get used to the 4 cylinder engine since I had a 6 cylinder previously but have found it has enough get up and go for me.....

Kona

I love my car. I am just making suggestions for your next year vehicles. Someday I hope to afford a Sante Fe. Thank you for my Kona. Also, my saleman was very good. He made me feel comfortable because I was very nervous and unsure if I wanted to buy a new car. My old car chevy trax was in a very bad car accident. I almost passed away. I decided to stop buying chevy cars.

It can be better

Overall pretty decent but Minor details are Major to me so stepping up interior options & leg room will be helpful. I would say more but I'm just trying to complete this survey to get it out of my inbox, lol

Great looking vehicle

I’m pleased with my Kona. Handles very good in snow & a great looking car. Would like it to have heated side mirrors & navigation in the mirror. Since it is a 1.6 T it is a little noisy. Great pickup. Apps could be a little more

Great alternative to SUV

The Kona is an attractive vehicle that's more roomy than a coupe, but not as cumbersome as a full size SUV. Great maneuvering and handling. I would recommend the Kona to anyone who wants to ride a bit higher but still have the maneuverability of a small vehicle.

Economical

The only thing what I am not seticfied with is the small boot. The power is good. The inner room is convenient, even on the back seats. I like the display, for example very useful for the GPS. Parking is easy.

No mechanical issues have come up.

Runs well. Mileage is excellent. Delivery was on time & done well. This car runs better than the 20 other cars & trucks I have owned. The safety features are greatly appreciated. The backup camera has a wide view. I enjoy the Apple CarPlay & make constant use of it. The connection to both the Apple & Google GPS systems makes travel very convenient.

Great car for size and price!

I would purchase a newer model of this car. The only big problem is the lack of leg room and cargo space. If these two things were made better and you add a navigation system to this model, it would be perfect.

Kona basic

With all the gadgets and electronic things put in cars now, I have to say it, again, I am missing REAR FOG LIGHTS. They are standard in Europe and most other places and should be a regular feature in any car, truck, bus and what have you. Also, on my basic Kona, which I love, the fog lights in front turn on when I switch on the driving light. I think that is not necessary since the fog light are a lot brighter then the regular lights. I hate it when trucks and other cars at night come at me with the fog lights glaring. I understand car manufacturers have to make money but that should not eliminate common-sense features.

A vehicle that lets cheap plastic keep it from 5 stars!

I was excited to hear that Hyundai had a new CUV in 2017 coming out called the Kona. After of months or reading thru technical documents and comparison shopping I decided to go to the dealer and test drive the 2017 Kona. I was all smiled when i got on the freeway and found merging a breeze. The brakes were good and the handling good as well. Several month of ownership and an accident sent me into a 2019 Kona about a year later. I live the driving experience and the technology thst Hyundai has put into the vehicle but it lacks in a major and a minor area for me. Major area first was that the plastic in the vehicle is cheap in fit, feel and look. The rear hatch door has thin cheap plastic that cracks if you sneeze on it. I only have a pair of golf shoes and my CERT emergency bag in the back. The plastuc needs to he more substantial if it is going to be used. A minor issue is that its big brothers, Tucson and Santa Fe have surround parking which is a "must" have as my wife is an amazing parker due to the surround camera system. This should be a safety feature on the Kona as well.

It has been a good vehicle. It does not have any blind spots like my previous vehicle and I like driving the vehicle. The sound system is very good, I like the extras most notably the blind spot detection.

Peppy but not trouble free

I am leasing the vehicle. It has had issues since about three months after I got it, with ECS (Engine Control System) malfunctions, and even a corroded ground wire. But the dealership finally got to the bottom of the ECS issues: It had to do with camshaft timing sensors. Now the car is back to its peppy self. Great mileage, great pickup and sound system. Comfortable, but being a big guy, I will need to step-up to something a little more..off the ground, when my lease expires.

Love it, great on gas !

The vehicle is definitely comfortable with very nice exterior and interior features. I love that it’s so cheap on gas. The music system sounds great. Vehicle runs very well on Th regular or sport Mode. Only reason why I have it 4 stars is because the trunk and back seat space is not that big. However, it’s perfect for me since I always ride alone. I do recommend this vehicle !

Its cute, fun to drive. Has some get up and go with the turbo. Turns on a dime and parks easily. After previously owning the Veracruz its just to small for me. Lacks storage and rear seat leg room

Great little SUV. I love the styling

I love the styling. Definately, it looks like a more expensive car than it is. Hyundai design team fid a wonderful job in designing this car. But, this car is noisy and the ride is harsh. Besides, it is missing adaptive cruise control that is standard in Honda and Toyota

Pretty good

Not bad. Good look and rides decent. Great on gas and the AWD isn't bad either. I feel it's a good buy once all the real adjustments are made after the surveys and trials. Great potential here. Rims do not match the aggressive design of the body and the headlights are really dim.

Nice vehicle as far as styling and efficiency. Fun to drive except when road noise exceeds a tolerable level. Interior is well placed but needs a kick in color and finish. This vehicle is highly ranked among sub compact crossover SUV's.

overall like the vehicle

Great car. Its a lot of fun to drive. great performance for a little engine, but the transmission need work. I have driven other dual clutch cars and they are a lot smoother than one is. It has a tendency to buck like a Branco especially at low speeds. Excellent gas mileage.
