Hyundai Kona

I purchased my car brand new and it's an okay car. The take off is slow but once it get to going, it goes. However I'm looking to trade it in only after a year. It only takes about $25 bucks to fill the tank which is amazing but I still wish to trade it in

A great little car

The kona checked off so many of the things I was looking for in a new car and it also had features I didn’t even know I would need or appreciate. My kona is compact but has a surprisingly large trunk. It has a ton of safety features like lane change alert, backup camera and 4 wheel drive. The monitor is a marvel for navigating and it has car play so connects with my phone so I can listen to my favorite music. When I first got the car there were some minor issues, but the dealer took care of everything happily and promptly. I would definitely recommend this car. My only wish is that Hyundai made a convertible.

TOUGH LITTLE CAR!

I LOVE MY KONA. IT HAS PERFORMED PERFECTLY. GOT 40 MPG HWY. ON MY FIRST VACATION IN IT. TAKING IT ON ANOTHER THIS WEEK, AND I FEEL THAT I AM SAFE IN A GOOD CAR. WE FELL OFF THE SIDE OF THE ROAD OUT HERE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE REMOVAL OF THE BLACKTOP ON CHIQUITA BLVD. IT HIT REALLY HARD WHEN WE FELL OFF. I BROUGHT IT UP TO BE CHECKED, AND ONLY TWO SCRATCHES ON THE VINYL CLADDING UP UNDERNEATH COULD BE FOUND. THAT IS WHEN I KNEW I HAD A REALLY TOUGH LITTLE CAR!

Glad I Picked The Right Vehicle For Me...

Love my Kona! Little did I know at my time of purchase, that Motortrend was going to rank the Kona as number one in the Small SUV class. For me, it was the right vehicle to buy, regardless. Love the way it handles, the way it looks, the way it drives, etc. I am not a speed demon, unlike a lot of drivers on the roads today (it's amazing how many refuse to abide by the laws of the road). Sad, really! Sorry, I went off on a tangent. Anyway, this vehicle is just a pleasure to drive. Most of the modern conveniences came in mine, and, I am glad. They really come in handy. Unfortunately, I can't speak for anyone, mainly because we all have different opinions about what one is looking for in a vehicle, but, for me, I truly believe I chose correctly. I am satisfied.

Kona

Love the Kona. Dependable. Just a bit of a stiff ride for a crossover. All in all, great purchase. I would like to see a smoother ride option. Its stiff and ruff on the bumpy roads. Is there a possible fix to this?

I really like my Kona it’s my car for driving to and from work and I drive an hour and a half a day Each way so I am in my Kona a lot I really would like an ultimate Kona Electric one would be nice but they don’t offer one here but as far as a commuter car my Kona Is King

2018 Hyundai Kona

Our '18 Kona with the 1.6 Turbo is a fun little vehicle to drive & quite comfortable for a small car. Car seems to be well made & doesn't feel cheap. Bought the car for every day running around into town & easier to get in & out of parking spots. With the Turbo & AWD we realized we would suffer a bit on the MPG with an advertised 26/29 mpg but we loved both those features. We only have about 4200 miles on it in a years time & have seen 22 & 24 mpg so far. Mostly short runs & city driving but hope that will improve closer to 26 mpg.

Great vehicle for the price

You definitely get the best bang for your buck with this vehicle. It is very stylish and fun to drive. The handling is very responsive and in sport mode you will be surprised by the acceleration. Ride quality is terrific and noise reduction is top notch.

Just the right size

Our Kona is just the right size. It's not too big or small. It fits five people comfortably. My husband drives it to work and back home. Occasionally, we take our two daughters places in it. It has great fuel economy. It's a good looking vehicle and we all enjoy using it, listening to music, and going places in it.

The Kona is the best car I've ever had.

I absolutely love my little red rocket! It handles like a dream, gets ripper gas mileage, cargo capacity is enormous and it is even a quieter ride than my former car, an Elantra. Everyone who rides with me is so impressed with its performance and value. Can't say enough good things!

I love my Kona. We purchased when they first came out. The sportiness along with overall look puts this above competition. This and reliability of the Hyundai brand has kept me coming back. I find my Kona to be fun to drive besides stylish.

Fun to drive. MPG has been greater than sticker rating.styling is great, many comments from people as to the look and style of car. A lot of room for hauling stuff when back seats are folded down. Once up to highway speed cruising is good.

Sporty, great gas mileage, good in snow. Very quiet, great safety features. Roomy interior for a small suv. Compared to other vehicles this size, ite Kona is definitely the best value in looks, price and features.

Great car for all around driving.

What a nice experience the service department always makes my wife comfortable when she takes her Kona for service. A lot of Mechanics use big words she doesn’t understand. D’arcy takes time with each customer so they understand repair and adjustments to car.

Perfect car at the perfect time.

This is my first brand new car and my second Hyundai. I have had this car for a year now and at first I was skeptical about purchasing a new car that was also new model. The more I drive it the more I love it. I was impressed with how quick the motor responds. I like the button that gives the boost of speed when it is needed. Turn the button off and you get around 350 miles per tank of gas. The style of the body is very nice, i get compliments all the time. The seats are very comfortable even on long trips. The technology along with the system, is easy and convenient. This is the only car on the market, from the ones i have seen, that has an option to pause or rewind on the XM stations. The only ting that my car did not come with that I was disappointed about, is remote start. Overall,I am very happy with my choice.

Great car

Great car fast reliable and great gas mileage. The leg room in the back seat is pretty much non existent if you have tall people up front. Truck space is tiny. Other than those issues the car is great fun to drive and a pleasure to own

Plenty of tech such as Android Auto and Apple Car Play, support for FLAC, auto climate/headlights/bright lights/windshield wipers. Performance tires. Great AWD in snow. Turbo is powerful and sets the Kona apart from all other crossovers. Head up display is a nice feature. Entertainment screen is sized right and easy to use. Nav guidance is ok. Lights do blind other drives at night. Engine idles rough on cold starts and gear shifts can be rough at times. There is a button to put car into Sport mode - would like to make that the default setting.
