Kona offers great value

Great small SUV at a great price. Offers updated styling that is attractive while still maintaining its purpose. Fun to drive even though it is not a quick car off the line. Handling is great, especially with the AWD in the snow.

a lot of safety features,smooth ride,fun to drive.gas mileage is decent,fit quality is good,spare tire is a big plus.I do mostly highway driving,and the power is pretty good,enjoy the vehicle very much

Great little ride

If you want a comfy little ride with awd and not entirely concerned with cargo room i highly recommend this vehicle. Very sporty style. Easy to use large screen entertainment system, and good gas mileage.

Outstanding vehicle

After extensive search and test drives of almost every compact SUV in the market, I selected the Hyundai Kona. Everything felt "right" from the feel of the cockpit, blind spot view, hood length, wheel base height, etc. The duel clutch is extremely smooth and the engine power / acceleration ratio feels very substantial.

Road noise insulation could be improved, Adjustment for the passenger seat did not provide for raising the height the seat is to low for a shorter person. Backup parking does not provide a warning for distance to another vehicle or object.

I think you need a 2.4 engine must ,and a little more trunk space for your GOLF CLUB MUST, over all nice car,,,fix that two items,easy to drive ,,nice radio,, love the safety ,needs electric seats must ,, over all little small but nice car to drive

Kona Ultimate

Overall the Hyundai Kona is Ultimate is an excellent value for the money. It has attractive styling. "Cute" might be an apt description. Overall it is fun to drive. The ability to manual shift makes it more fun to drive. Fuel economy is excellent for this vehicle.

Great car!

I love my car. Everything about it is awesome. There are some downfalls, the gas mileage isn’t great, the interior has a lot of plastic and the acceleration is Slow. But I definitely recommend the car

Kona

The one thing that can be improved on is the road noise. You can hear everything and it’s loud. Not sure why there can’t be and insulation or something that can be done to improve that. The car when you are in traffic or going slow it stutters, the transmission doesn’t like it.

COULD NOT BE HAPPIER AND MORE PLEASED. 1ST THE STYLING IS IN MY OPINION TOP NOTCH. PERFORMANCE IS BETTER THAN EXPECTED. MILEAGE IS AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER THAN COMPARABLE BRANDS. FOR A 2ND CAR (AND DAILY DRIVER) IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND - AND ALREADY HAVE TO FRIENDS, IN ALL THE MODELS WE LOOKED (TRADED IN A KIA SOUL) THIS WAS THE BEST OVERALL VALUE.

Love this car with its features at an affordable price. Great mpg at avg of 35, blue tooth enabled with controls at the steering wheel. Really fun to drive with great handling, though brakes are a bit lax

Love this small suv

I went from a veloster to the Kona a few months ago and even though it took me a month or two to get used to driving this car overall it is a great car. There are a lot of cool details and overall the drive and experience in the car is great. The size of the trunk and center console are the two things I wish were a bit bigger but for a small suv it handles well and looks cool too!

Very nice Kona

Good performance. Great handling. Fantastic fuel mileage. Very comfortable as I am 6'4" tall. Not much room behind my seat but I usually don't have a passenger there anyway. Small storage area in the hatch. Great storage with the rear seats folded. All in all, a great urban vehicle for me and fine for shorter vacations.

This is my first new car and so far it is great. It drives smooth and responds well. The lane assist and collision alert systems are new to me and have already been valuable several times. Would recommend this car.

I would have preferred a lighter color interior, like grey instead of all black Vision is limited due to the small rear windows Radio system is very complicated I would have preferred a sunroof vs the rear view camera

Sounds like a good little car with a few caveats. Only time will tell this cars strengths and weaknesses it seems there is an issue with the engine and transmission stalling and slipping but as former owner of a Hyundai sonata I which did the same I assume it is a Hyundai condition

2020 Kona AWD Ultimate

We purchased our Kona Ultimate AWD just before Covid-19 became a serious issue in the US. Because of Civid-19 we have only driven 1,300 miles. The car had an AC issue which came to light five days after taking possession when the weather warmed up enough to use it. It took two service visits and 11 days to get it fixed properly. That is the only issue we have had with the Kona in three months. We really like the vehicle and enjoy driving it. It is quick for a 4 cylinder and with the AWD suspension handles well. It is well appointed for the price.

Good buy for the money

This car is a good buy for your money! Very basic and average car. Back seat and cargo area a little small. My advice find a good dealership- my experience with the sales person was decent the financial guy was a disaster! So very unorganized!
