Cute SUV but rough ride

The car is small and cute yet with enough storage space. Ride and seats are a little rough and hard. Might not be a good choice for a really long car trip, say NY to Florida. Great car for local driving and for local shopping trips

2021 Kona

I love my new car. It has many safety controls such as blind spot warning, lane crossing alert, back up camera and warning, 4 wheel drive,, rear windshield wiper. It has blue link, giving more capabilities. It comes with free trial of Sirius.

Clunky transmission, love it anyway

This is a great car. Superb handling, acceleration, brakes, comfort. My only complaint is the transmission at low speeds; jerky, clunky, rough. My passengers think I’m a bad driver, when it’s the car making the decision and rough gear change. Other reviewers have agreed, calling it motion sickness inducing shifts. I agree, but thankfully am getting used to it. I’ve had other automatics that do shift smoothly, this is my only complaint about this car.

Great car!

I love this car, except the steering wheel is a little to thick for my comfort. Passengers say they are comfortable, love the IPlay, the the ability to hear your texts, and the rear view camera are all excellent! Other than that, it is fantastic! I highly recommend!

Great car

Great car, should have the push to start button and heated seats for it to be a 2021. Not sure why those features aren’t included. Love the interior and the remaining features of the vehicle. Should also have the eco feature where the car shuts off when not in use.

Cute little car

I love my little car. I was wanting a smaller car. And for the most part this car is amazing. I do wish it had a remote start. not just from the App. A little more wind noise than i thought. Had trouble figuring out the "auto" heat. Lol. But it's a great car and runs great. Glad i bought it

Great small suv ...mileage could be better

SO replacing a 2015 Prius III ....which was 175 inches long (max for my small garage) wasn't easy.... the new Prius is too long (184 inches) and the Hyundai Ioniq (175 inches) was OK but too expensive since there are not many around....so we found the KONA (2021 SEL) was 164 inches...great... looked bigger....drove pretty good...style not bad and price with discount and good trade not a bad deal. SO FAR ...we like the size (more room in the garage)..but since there is a pandemic going on not traveling too much...just short trips to the stores, doctors,etc... so the mileage is not great for city driving/ Hopefully will improve ... One big problem: Hyundai gives 3 yrs maintenance BUT NOT SYNTHETIC OIL CHANGE..and..once a year or 7,500 miles whichever comes first... Here in FLORIDA we need SYNTHETIC OIL because of the hot weather...and short trip driving the manual says EVERY 3,750 miles (classified severe)... my Prius was once a year for oil change 10,000 or less and every 6 months rotating tires ..using SYNTHETIC OIL...for our two year free service...HYUNDAI CHANGE YOUR POLICY AND USE SYNTHETIC OIL....Don't be so cheap, its only a couple more dollars.

Verry sporty, nice features, good paint job. Noisy Too much road noise. If attention were paid to quieting the car, it would be perfect. I used some quieting material in the back where the spare tire sits, but if wheel wells and doors were likely quieted, it would be great. Lane keeping feature hunts inside it's lane.

This is a great vehicle

I love the way the vehicle drives. It is an above average vehicle. I checked reviews. It drives exceptional and I feel I got the right price worth my money. I am satisfied. I will buy another Kona in the near future. I love driving the Kona. Very good.

Love my Kona

I love my 2021 Kona! It is so stylish and I am very impressed by the safety features. The entertainment system rivals higher-end cars. I was not considering a Hyundai until I learned how high the Kona scored related to other cars in its class. I’m so glad I found the Kona and went with the Hyundai brand.

I like the features of the car. The driving performance is excellent.

I like the design of the vehicle interior and exterior. I love the driving performance as well. I would recommend other people to try driving a Hyundai. Ive received a lot of compliments on the car. Seemingly this Hyundai Kona can handle extreme weather and long distance travelling.

Stylish and can be sporty sub compact SUV

A very nice vehicle. Good safety features. Stylish interior. Handling is great too. Would definitely recommend this to a friend. The only thing I hope Hyundai improves next time is the cargo space. I find it too small. Overall the vehicle is really topnotch.

Very nice subcompact vehicle, it has a relative smooth ride with excellent fuel milage. The exterior design is unique has a handsome trim line. What is really impressive are all the safety features the vehicle is equipped with. The Bluetooth is very useful and a valuable asset especially when using the phone.

Quite happy with the leasing of my 2021 Kona. The car is well made and drives nicely. It has a lot of nice features. Gas mileage and interior could be better, but not a deal breaker. Overall quite satisfied.

Almost great

Good value, good warrantee. Great safety and convenience features. Enjoyable drive overall. Easy parking. Disappointing trunk space and lift gate is not automated. A little louder road sound on the highway than ideal. Limited leg room in back seat. Limited cup holders in back seat- only one climate control.

Unhappy with interior space. Not enough leg room in the back, trunk is small and glove compartment. Other than that very happy would refer to dealership and my Sales representative who was very professional and helpful.

Good car

A good little car for the most part. I was a bit disappointed with acceleration and road noise. It’s listed as a small SUV but is really a hatchback in my opinion. I get great fuel economy around town and on the highway.

Smooth Ride

Comforting and smooth ride.Wonderful handling.For a Compact SUV, it has a spacious interior.However, the size of the trunk is small. Love that the monitor is on top of the dashboard; it is easy on the eyes .
