Love My Kona

In Summery of my experience with the Kona, it is a very roomy car. It is a very nice ridding and driving car. I really like the looks or my car as well. I have noticed a couple second looks at the car from other drivers.

2021 Hyundai kona SEL review

Mileage and sports mode way under what I was advertised. No backseat foot room at all, people can’t even sit in the back. Other then those things I love the car and will have it for a long time, normal driving mode works way better then sports mode, which seems useless to me because it only would slow the car down and shake the car, front seat interior is great and exterior is great, not much storage at all, but if you don’t drive with more then yourself and a front seat passenger it works great, all controls are easy to find and use. Touch screen and navigation is great, only problem is that personally for mine the usb connection doesn’t work with other peoples phones it gets to scratchy and to the point where it cuts in and out ever feel seconds. Very nice rims, and seats are comfortable.

Well done. Not everything the critics said.

Overall vehicle true to subcompact SUV. Great value. Sparse creature comforts, plain interior design, comfortable seating, good gas mileage, hard suspension, door slam tinny, takes long to get heat, headlights should be better, lane change devise could be better.

Super vehicle for me!

Rides and handles great and runs perfectly. Great time and tires and engine runs like a watch. Good mileage and no accelerator lag like my Accent had. Love the interior but could use floor mats which I had to o buy on Ebay.

Storage needs to be slightly larger.

I should have checked the size of the space behind the rear seat. Storage area just short of space for "fold up" walker. Needs to be about 3 inches more, Had to use back seat instead. Great car for seniors. Good gas mileage and easy handling. Bluetooth system easy to set up. Works well with Iphone.

Kona 2021 review

I really enjoy the Kona. The handling and acceleration are great. The interior is also nice and i love the upgraded sound system with the hud display. Blue link features are great too especially the remote start and locking.

Great Car

The car is great. Before this I drive a 2007 Toyota Prius. This is the perfect little crossover SUV. I even think it might be a little shorter than my Prius. The interior space is smaller than my Prius but it is still roomy

Great vehicle if you don't mind riding rough!

We love our new Kona 2021! We gave high marks for all areas, including and especially our amazing sales rep Paul Hamm. However, we are not impressed at all with two things: the overall ride and the user-friendliness of the volume buttons on the steering wheel. The ride is rough, stiff, hard, like there's no suspension. when we asked the service dept about this, they suggested new tires. HOWEVER, there was no willingness to work with us on buying new tires at a reasonable discount OR buying back our brand new tires. Some excuse was given. That was very disappointing, especially since we had JUST leased the vehicle. Also, the placement and type of volume controls on the steering wheel were very poorly desogned. It's too easy to mute the volume and take concerted effort to locate and then adjust the volume whether up or down. As I said, not a good design.

Affordable and Safe

Very economical vehicle. Safe for anyone. Very stylish. I just wish it had a bit more space. You get what you pay for and then some. If safety is a priority for you the you should definitely try the Kona. I like it. And it saves me so much money on gas. It only takes $30 to fill the tank.

Hyundai Kona Ultimate

I love the styling and design. Great performance. Fun to drive. Great performance.Love all the features- radio, navigation, bluetooth, bluelink, climate control, lighting. Fit and finish seem to be excellent but do find the vehicle noisier than expected.

I like this car, my problems were with a dealer that did not care about satisfaction from a customer. I have submitted a complaint over the phone, have not heard back yet. They are requiring 200 characters so I've added this.

2021 Hyundai Kona a step down from Hyundai Santa Fe Sport

Overall, the new Kona looks great on the outside and rides well but the difference in luxury between it and my previous car (Santa Fe Sport). There is too little room in the hatch for groceries or other types of shopping which is mainly what I use my car for since I work from home and drive very little. It is easier to get into than the Santa Fe Sport which sits higher off the ground which is good for me since I am short. Overall, I like the car and know it will be reliable but it's not real exciting.

Great little car!

Runs great and I love all of the functions. It is very small though so think that through before purchasing. I hate the headrests. They push your head forward which is very uncomfortable. Overall I am happy though.

Good car!

The car has a pleasing design and seems to be of good quality. I don't understand though what the real benefit of an "Atkinson" cycle engine is since the gas mileage (30 mpg combined) and horsepower (147) numbers are not all that great for a 2 liter engine in a 2900 lb. car.

fun to drive

good looking small SUV, fun to drive. the 1.6 Turbo engine have more than enough power, much better than the 2.0 engine, good MPG, great value, like the look of this small SUV, very little overhang on both front and back, which is what I like, love the way it looks from the side, the front is OK only, the back is also very nice looking

Best car I’ve ever owned.

The car looks great. Performs great. Has one of the best turbo engines in its class. Very good leg room. Only thing it lacks is storage space in the back. Not a lot of room. But otherwise a great car!

Fun to drive

The Kona is great on gas, easy to drive, and a great little affordable car. I like being able to park it easily in any parking spot, unlike my large people hauling SUV. Unfortunately when buying the Kona, I overlooked the lack of leg room in the back seat. My teenagers can’t ride in the back seat so it limits our use of the vehicle. It’s a perfect ride for a single person or couple but wouldn’t recommend it for a family car.
