2024 Hyundai Santa Cruz

I never thought I'd own a truck but the Santa Cruz now is my all-time favorite vehicle. I only drove smaller cars in the past so buying a truck was a surprise for me. Once I drove it at the dealership I was sold - it drives like an SUV, is comfortable, handles well and has everything you need (including a storage area in the truck bed that can serve as a cooler). In the 2 years I've owned it I've only had to see the mechanics for oil changes. I'm really happy with the Santa Cruz and several of my friends have bought their own after driving mine. It's a god choice.

24 Santa Cruz feedback

Love the vehicle. But it has its issues. Suspension squeeks (thinking shocks/not sure) and dealer states cant find issue. Considering mounting a Gopro to prove my case. Very quick; but transmission feels weak based on my experience.

The truck is just about perfect for everyday city life.

Perfect for beach or mountain. I have four complaints. 1- Rear trunk is entirely too small to be useful. 2- Rollup tonneau cover broke six months ago and I am unable to open the cover to use the bed. I am still waiting for a warranty replacement (on back order with no end in sight). 3- Inability to have a full-size spare tire and a tow hitch, its one of the other as there isn’t enough room underneath. 4- Way too much plastic cladding. It looks ok now, but I am worried about what the sun will do to it in the coming years (e.g. the Chevy Avalanche). But thats it, the rest of the truck is near perfect, and I am very pleased with the purchase.

The factory installed tonneau cover takes up too much space in the truck bed. The tires they sell them with are terrible.

Love my little truck

I have the Limited Edition and enjoy all the bells and whistles that come with it. The safety features really enhance the driving enjoyment and were a life saver driving it home the day I bought it. I was on the interstate in a driving rain storm and visibility was horrible. Add in all the water being thrown at the windshield from the big semi's I could barely see 3 feet in front of me. But the cars ability to control following distances and lane keeping made it a safer drive. I was confident in it's ability to keep me safe.

It’s great.

I started out with an SEL with Activity Package because after having a few turbo vehicles, I was shy about getting the Limited. After a few years, I decided to get the Limited and love it and the additional features that come with that level.
