Suspension and gas mileage

Vehicle is a perfect ride until you hit a pothole . The way the suspension is terrible. It’ll jump and have the back side jumping a different way . The gas mileage is very low and I’m wondering if anyone else is experiencing this . Although it has these problems I love my vehicle .

Drives like an SUV but has the truck bed room of a small truck

This vehicle drives and has the comfort of an SUV with plenty of room and gadgets of any modern SUV. In addition, there is plenty of room in the truck bed to haul most family vacation and gardening needs. The quiet interior on the road is a plus on long trips

Santa Cruz

I have only had this vehicle for less that 3 months and have less that 300 miles on it. I love the looks and feel of the Santa Cruz. However I still have a lot to learn about all the technical options. I have read the manual and am still lost. One problem that I have is with the remote. On the side is a control that opens the tailgate. On 3 separate occasions while driving the control was activated while in my purse on the passenger seat. This is definitely a problem, as items have fallen out of the truck area while the truck was in use.

small truck/luxury vehicle ride

Exactly what I was looking for.

A fuel efficient vehicle, more spacious cab than similar vehicles with great fuel mileage. The engine is smaller, but able to tow anything I would need.

Runs and drives well. Also a comfortable ride. Owner’s manual is written for the younger generation and somewhat hard to understand for someone like me who is a senior citizen. Especially when it comes to the setting of all the infotainment accessories. Otherwise very pleased.

Infotainment complaint

Backup camera is aggravating. After backing up, when I put the truck in drive, it takes several seconds to show me the map, it continues to show me the backup camera. If I have to make a quick turn when I don't know where I'm at, I rely on the map on the infotainment screen, and sometimes I miss a turn because of that. Please fix that!!!
