Good vehicle that could be great if the transmission didn't slip

nice styling and good acceleration, but the engine feels like it slips into neutral occasionally. Not sure what causes this, but I would like to fix the problem. There are difficult blind spots;without the reverse camera I would not be able to back up my car.

One of the best vehicles I've driven or owned

I've driven many vehicles in the past 50 years or so, but this has to be the more comfortable and luxurious vehicle of them all. With built in GPS that looks like it belongs in the dash, instead of an after thought and has multi-uses, i.e., clock, radio, GPS and cell phone interface as well as usb connectivity for listening to music on your cell phone or other compatible device. The lane change/vehicle warning indicator has prevented me from changing lanes when another vehicle was in my blind spots. (but caution, you must insure it is ALWAYS on). Space to spare, I have loaded a small wheel barrow and plants, another time was a 65" TV, box and all, no problem. It holds about 17.5 gals fuel, for around 378 miles. Not bad for it size and 5 passenger plus luggage area. A very smooth, comfortable ride. I love it!

Loyal Hyundai Owner

This is my third Hyundai purchased as new. I have never had any mechanical issues putside of wear and tear. Only complaint is seats could be more comfortable. Hyundai takes care of their customers and provides me with quality and service I can trust.

Love this car!

I upgraded from the Sonata to the Santa Fe because we were having another child. I was hesitant because I adored the Sonata and the pick-up of the V6 engine. But alas the Santa Fe did not disappoint. I got one that had a lot of the upgrade features (automatic open lift gate, heated seats, rear view camera, side traffic detection) with the Turbo package. I wasn't sure the Turbo would be enough of a pick-up for me but it sure is! I was pleasantly surprised with the test drive. It drives so nicely! Not as smooth as my Sonata just because it's an SUV but it's smooth enough! The only dislike is there isn't a lot of room in the back. With two car seats there is barely any leg room. The seats don't slide back or forth to I've additional room so it's very tight. But we can fit a person between the two very large car seats so that's a plus! Overall, greatly pleased with this car. I can't say enough good things about it really.

Santa Fe 2.4.

This is a very good SUV. I loved the seats and the roominess. Handling is average and the panorama roof the best. The engine is adequate with around 25mpg. Would like the 2.0 better. Overall I plan on purchasing another Santa Dr. Next time the 2.0.

I like the way it handles except at high speeds but feel safe driving it. I love the warranty. This is our third Hyundai and there will be a forth in the future.
