my last jeep

I owned a Liberty for 12 years and loved that car. The Patriot is a different story altogether. It has a too small an engine for the size of the car and has terrible gas mileage. When you take your foot off the gas, it slows way down immediately. No coasting at all. It's hard to get in and out of. The one plus is it's very good in the snow. And that's the main reason I bought it.

Just a cheap car

Too much about this car is just cheap. Even down to the radio. I can connect my phone’s Bluetooth to the radio when I start the car, yet it takes a good 60 seconds for me to be able to listen to music from the phone. The acceleration is slow. The car isn’t quiet at all. Around 60,000 miles I needed a BRAND NEW TRANSMISSION. Two weeks later, the engine stalled on me again because I needed a new crankshaft sensor. You can’t even download the Uconnect app to use with this car because it’s too obsolete and cheap!!!! Can’t wait to get rid of this thing! If you can, stay away from the Patriot

disappointed in my jeep

I have owned this jeep Patriot for 3 years and have had it in the shop waaay too many times. I love the gas mileage it gets, but I have never owned a vehicle with more mechanical problems. Very disappointed.
