Wonky Transmission, Unpredictable Acceleration

As of this writing the car is two months old and has 2100 miles on it. Overall the packaging is great, the ride is nice, and the interior materials are ok. The main issue is the unpredictable acceleration that happens intermittently. This isn't to be confused with turbo lag. The local dealership network says they are all like that or they cannot duplicate the issue. I had a third party VW specialist verify my concern and the car is back at the dealership right now. If you don't want the headache of these types of issues, avoid this car.
