The first time I needed a vehicle repaired in Tacoma I looked at reviews and this shop was full of "I
've lived in Tacoma all my life and this is the only place I take my vehicle" or "I asked my neighbor who they use because they've lived here for 20 years, and this is the only mechanic they'll use." I've now lived in Tacoma for 15 years and yep - they're the only mechanics I use, aside from the dealership for recall work.
As a woman, I've walked out of many other car repair shops because I refuse to be taken advantage of. I can say that these folks exceed my expectations in terms of treating women like people (rather than an easy mark). It shouldn't have to be said, but every woman out there knows what I'm talking about.
At Lloyd & Wilson, I know that I can just bring my truck in, hand over the keys, and get a fair price for service I wholeheartedly trust. They operate a business like I do and will turn you away if you don't need a repair, or if it's not worth it to fix the car. And if you don't understand what's going on, they'll explain the whole thing. Absolutely love them.
