Customer service was inadequate.
We had an appointment set for March 7th for service to pick up our
vehicle for a recall. NO ONE SHOWED UP... We called and they scheduled for the next day
but after completion we received a call that our vehicle was on its way back.
So we waiting over an hour an a half for our vehicle to arrive when it is 15 minutes from
where we were at.
We texted the personnel in service and no response. We called and they had no clue what was going
on.
In our business customer service is everything.

Lets figure this out Mike White Ford!! You guys have always been good to us but this time
ya dropped the ball.

Awesome Smooth and Friendly
Gordie was very nice; he answered all our questions, and he did not just talk to one of us. The whole process was easy, friendly and helpful. They went beyond the normal buying a car and by the time we left we felt like we were friends. everyone there is friendly, and helpful. We love our car, and we are so happy that Gordie was there to help us that day. Tyler was great signing the papers, getting the car and meeting all our questions and finding the answers for us. I would send my family and friends to White Ford of CDA and know they would be taken good care of.

Poorly served
Made an appointment for a couple little things needing attention on our 22 superduty. About two weeks before the appointment the truck lost all power and I was nearly able to get the truck to the dealership. Long story short anything that’s on a timeline they say doesn’t happen. From phone calls to when they say there going to work on it to even telling me when it will be done. What happen to this small community style dealership. If it wasn’t for the oil change program I’d stay clear of this dealership.

Although my car repair experience was a long ordeal and I returned several times and it took many attempts to discover the issue, AJ was very courteous and communicated with along the way so I knew what to expect each step. Every time I schedule service I ask for a rental car. I am assured that there will be one available to me. I've only gotten a rental car once. Every other time I am told I have to go to Thrifty to get it. If I am told there will be one available, it should be at the dealer as I am already inconvenienced having to get warranty work done. When I have to get warranty work done, parts need to be ordered and I have to come back at a later time for the repair. This makes it 4-8 weeks to actually get the repair completed. On the positive side- all of the staff have been very nice. It makes getting mediocre service more tolerable.

I feel like I was flim flammed and I wonder if it has ever happened before.
Brought my F350 truck to Mike White for because the brake calipers were sticking and not releasing smoothly when pulling away from a stopped position. The front brakes were done by MW Ford last year (new, rotors, calipers, pads). I was told the following work was needed to assure my truck was safe on the road.
1. new rear brakes (rotors, calipers and pads) $905.62
2. a new steering gear box $1425.32
3. new Drag link ends $569.10
4. new tie rod ends $687.93
5. new rear drive line carrier bearing seal $473.39
6. new front axel U joints $1399.04
totaling $5460.39
I had Mike White Ford complete the rear brake rebuild because I think it's important to use OEM parts on brake systems. I called another reputable mechanic shop and read the work descriptions to them for another quote. I was told that should I choose to replace the steering gear box that would basically include the drag link ends and tie rod end in the job for $2000 total (rather than the $2682.35 quoted by Mike White Ford. The front axel U joints were quoted at $500 less than MW Ford. I understand that the dealership prices are likely more expensive but I chose to save the money and took it to the second shop. Their lead mechanic called me with in a hour and informed me that NONE of the additional items that I brought to their attention were remotely in disrepair, worn out or in any way unserviceable. I paid them for the hour of their time and now I'm wondering if the tens of thousands of dollars of service work that I hired Mike White Ford mechanics to preform was necessary at all. I am a Ford guy 100% and would never consider buying a Chevrolet or a Dodge product but this circumstance has left a very bad taste in my mouth for Mike White Ford.

Common problem unable to fix
My AC will stop blowing out of the vents. It sounds like the blower motor is working but nothing comes out of the vents. This happens anytime it’s on longer than 30 minutes approximately. This seems to be a very very common problem as it all over the internet and forums (TSB 22-2089)but until service experiences it themselves they won’t take responsibility. Not to mention it took 8 weeks to get into the service center and now no one needs AC that it’s October. Nothing like a brand new very, very expensive truck with 4,000 miles on it not having AC and the dealer won’t address it without experiencing it themselves.

Frustrating run around
I took my Escape in for regular maintenance in back in August. At the time, the service engine light was coming on intermittently as I was driving around town. I was able to look at my Ford app and see what the problem was. I had mentioned it to the service advisor when I took it in, and they had brushed me off saying that there wasn’t anything they could do about it then. About a week or so later, the engine light was staying consistently on, but still going off every once in awhile. I called back and the guy who helped me at that point was able to see from his end that there were two faults that were being thrown from that engine light. One that I had mentioned previously when I took it in for maintenance, and then another one. If he could see it then, why couldn’t the other guy see it? I understand that going in for maintenance and then having another issue may cause time constraints for the mechanics. However, when I took it back in recently, I was told that there may need to be a part ordered and I would be without my vehicle until Monday. (It was a Friday going into a weekend). Thankfully, I was set up with a rental for the day to be able to get to and from work and over the weekend if needed, but the situation was frustrating as the part that was replaced was exactly what I told the service advisors what was wrong when I had originally taken it in back in August. It was poor customer service from the original advisors as they brushed off my concern and didn’t even bother to look at codes or give me another solution to get me on the schedule to come back in. This service department came highly recommended, and I felt pretty disappointed.
