Took the truck in to have timing cover and oil pan leak fixed. come to find out i have been driving t
his truck with a defective block fro mthe factory. Purchased new on 2003 I had a low loping knock in the motor, took it in and was told its normal for a hydraulic motor to sound like that. I eventually developed a leak in the timing cover and oil pan gaskets. Excell performed a pressure test on the motor found the crack and recomended a new motor swap.We did the engine swap with a brand new 7.3 International Ford motor, all new breaks, upper, lower and idler arm steering components, ltrans flush, both diffs, transfercase, shocks and whatever else the guys could find wrong with this 21 yr old truck. Brought back to new condition for me to hand off to my son. All done in a couple weeks.
