Gas mileage

My 1999 dodge dakota sat for a year.. I bought it for 300.00 dollars. I put a new fuel pump , spark plugs, and changed the oil. I can go 80 to a 100 miles and when I go to put gas in it, itll only take 3 or 4 gallons to fill up again. Either I have the best truck in the world when it comes to gas mileage or something is very wrong. It runs great. It's a standard transmission.

The 318 is very reliable the frame has rusted the body has rusted the bed has rusted but the motor won't die the interior is comfortable the suspension is rear leaf and shackle has broken at 130,000 miles

An old friend.

Owned it since it was new. 4x4 club cab 318 c.i. with a straight stick. 240k miles and only on my 2nd clutch. I did put in dual exhaust with glass packs. Paint is starting to fail but it’s a dependable runner.

Great shop and do good work for my truck. The truck has been a good running truck. It has met all my needs for what work I have been doing for the last 20 years. It still get pretty good ,ileage and the engine seems to be performing very well for the amount of miles that are on the truck.

‘99 Dodge Dakota club cab 4x4 5speed 318ci.

I bought this truck new, and except for the Power steering pump that just started leaking, the only other thing I’ve had to replace was a clutch at 120k miles. I now have 240k on it. The engine is strong and uses no oil. I still get 16 mpg overall and it is totally dependable, even on long trips. I really should get it repainted because it is garaged.

I have 235000 miles on my trk, and everything still works. If and when I need another vehicle I will look for another one. Very pleased with my truck. It's an extended cab a big plus. Hopefully I can drive it another 250 thousand miles.

Overall truck has performed as needed. Bought it new and had it in for leaks inside cab under floor mat on passenger side numerous times. Nobody has ever been able to fix it. Checked windshield, rear window, heater core, air conditioner, etc. my fix, don’t have a floor mat.

it has 201K and still running. The engine has performed well and I think the truck has been built well. It been a good truck and is a pleasure to drive. I have enjoyed this truck from the beginning when I brought it new. This truck has been a good working truck for the type of work that I do. The truck has served it's purpose for me.

Solid with 6V - reliable - little bit gas hog

Good reliable truck dependable but it’s a little bit of gas user - but 6V dodge are like that Compared to small cars with four cylinders. 20 year old and still smooth engine - rust is to be Expected.

It has been a good truck and JC Motors has done good work on it. I have enjoyed driving the truck and has been dependable over the life of the truck. It drive good and is comfortable riding in it. mileage is good on the tires and the gas mileage is fair. works for what my needs are.
