Genesis g70

My 2021 genesis g70 is awesome. I was leaning towards a few different vehicles until I met with the staff at genesis of corona. It is a fantastic dealership and will be buying future cars there for my wife and myself. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

Overpriced and not luxury

I bought my first Genesis this year opting for a G70 2.0T based on the dealership experience. It has not met any expectations what so ever after owning it for two months. The MPG are terrible. The engine performance is just hoo hum. The ride quality is harsh and unforgiving. The noise inside the cabin when driving is terrible. I was considering a BMW and now I believe I should've bought one.

Bang for your buck

Excellent quality and features . Performance is excellent . The car is loaded with all kind of features that you would normally find on a more expensive vehicle .The build and fit of the car is excellent . The warranty that comes with the car from genesis is top of the line . Definitely a bang for your buck .

Great Car

This is a great looking car inside and out and it performs as good as it looks. The 3.3L twin-turbo is powerful and does not disappoint. Handles great in the corners, drives surprisingly smooth, and the interior is quiet. Back seating is limited to space. The only thing I didn't like was the automatic wiper system. It's suppose to detect when it rains and how much. Then adjust the wiper speed automatically. Mine does not work at all. I've even adjusted the speed interval and still nothing. It doesn't bother me much at this time, but eventually I will take it to the dealership to have it looked at. Other than that, I love this car.

Nice car but infotainment system needs work.

Title says it all. There is no need to explain any more especially since this survey was way too long and I answered all the questions honestly. The Genesis executive decision to eliminate some Hyundai dealers selling Genesis was not wise. After all Chevrolet dealers also sell Cadillacs.

Nice car but some issues

Genesis is trying to become a "high-end" vehicle and could succeed if they would stop using inexcusable decisions. Why take away Genesis sales from certain dealers and create travel issues for more dealers for repair? This will be on my mind when it comes time to trading vehicles. Also if they want to be high=-end, they need to repair their high-end vehicle no matter what. It ain't so high-end if only part of the franchise is high-end.

2021 Genesis G70

I love my G70. It has exceeded all my expectations. It has the performance, responsiveness, feel and luxury appointments I was looking for. It is a great value compared to other sport/luxury cars with the same performance and luxury options. The only issues I have are nitpiks that have mostly been addressed in the mid-cycle refresh. I have recommended it to many friends. While I am not an SUV person and do not want one, I am in love with the new GV70.

Survey

The overall experience is great, I have no doubt or concern when I choose Genesis as my primary transportation. G70 is a great/ fun vehicle to drive, but it is not comfortable enough when you become rear passengers since the car is a smaller version than others. I would consider a bigger size Genesis if I have a bigger family later on, for now I am good with my choice since I am not married.

Happy Drover

Best vehicle I have purchased to date in last 25 years. No big issues and dealer works hard to address any issues. Happy so far. I think the styling of the 2021 is heads and tails better than the 2022 models. So far it’s a fun car to floor and go! Just try it!

Love my G70

The car met all the positive reports in Motor Trend and on line. We have lots of experience with sister company, Kia, and my son-in-law is a Hyundai owner. I cannot recommend thie G70 more highly for anyone interested in a great driving automobile with great control, excellent appointments and appearance. The car earned every bit of a COTY spot from Motor Trend.

I love most everything about the G70 I’ve been leasing for over a year now. The only problem I’ve had, is a noticeable, flat panel hanging down slanted front to back under the engine. When I brought the car in for it’s first oil change, about a month ago, I asked the service dept. to fix this, and they said they couldn’t fix it. I refused that excuse and am going in for another oil change tomorrow plus forcing the problem to be fixed under the vehicle warranty.

THE BEST!

Love the G70! Besides being gorgeous it is a treat to drive! I get so many great comments from strangers as to how pretty this car is (we call it candy apple red). The finish is outstanding!! I love to just look at it. It puts a smile on my face.

Affordable luxury for a driving enthusiast

I don't believe there is a better luxury car that is this much fun to drive within 20k of the purchase price. I researched online and test drove almost every small luxury car there is, the G70 was the clear winner. Mercedes, Audi, and BMW fell short, and are nowhere near the value of this car.

I’m a Genesis convert

I’ve had three Genesis vehicles since 2015; all three have been flawless. No complaints at all. The same features and options as German competitors at a much lower price. Genesis delivers unbeatable value for the money. I expect a fourth Genesis in my future!

Love this car!

This car is amazing and meets all of my expectations. It is so smooth and quiet. You get way more than expected with the Genesis brand. The value is unbelievable for what you get. I get so many comments on the styling and unique color. Love driving it!

Worst Manufacturer and Dealer Service Possible

The vehicle itself is beautiful, optioned well and great performance. I enjoyed driving it and wanted so bad to support the brand. However, do not expect to be treated with any respect when dealing with a Hyundai dealer. Sales tactics like buy here pay here, complete lack of service support and the promise of loaners and concierge service was a complete lie. I kept this car for maybe 3 months and around 1500 miles. The stress of trying to get things fixed and working with Genesis Consumer Affairs, who have zero authority to do anything and are ineffective was just too much. I traded in the G70 to preserve my sanity.

Stylish looks and fun to drive.

The Genesis G70 is quality small sports sedan. It is a joy to drive with crisp handling and smooth acceleration. The interior is built with premium materials with a attractive display that is easy to access and use. The exterior is stylish and good looking. I would strongly recommend the G70 if you are in the market for a reasonably priced small sports sedan that drives like a champ.

Just Awesome All Around

This car is an absolute automotive achievement. The exterior and interior design are sleek and beautiful. The handling, ride and power are mind-blowing. What this car offers at the price is nothing short of extraordinary -- and there has clearly been a tremendous amount of thought that went into designing, building and creating it.
