Overall Rating Based On Comparison

As this Genesis G70 replaced a 2023 Genesis G70 I was leasing, it is going to be difficult to review this 2026 G70 without comparing the 2 vehicles. I will attempt to give my best opinion as they are both great cars.

I love it, but my Interior is very light. I like it too, but should come with a clear protective cover if it's going to be that light. And better Rims...I think 🤔

Great car so far

Build feels solid. Interior feels luxurious, with a simple design. That simplicity is what attracted me to it's interior. Exterior design draws eyes whereever I go, and many questions along with it. The UI on the dash is easy to use and very uncluttered, unlike some competitors. Genesis warranty was another big selling point, at 5 years 60k miles, when competitors are typically 3 years and ~36k miles. Highly recommend Genesis of Schaumburg, IL if your in that area. Experience was amazing.

G70 Impressive Vehicle

It is a good car, with a lot of great features. However, the extension of the seat and steering column are not good for exiting the vehicle. The new keyfob is clunky. The inability to have proximity lock and unlock is too bad. For instance, my Impala I could walk away and the car would lock. Additionally, the Impala allowed me to exit the vehicle, lock the doors, start the car, and it would run, while my dog was in the car and I had a quick errand. The Impala would lock out the transmission based on the proximity of the keyfob.

My Genesis

A little tight getting into the car. But, once behind the wheel the snug fit makes me feel I am in a sports car. And the car handles perfectly on the road; sufficient power for all operations, good balance and stability, solid!
