Close to the Germans.

Overall this is a very good car. The quality and workmanship in fit and finish is as good or better than any production car. If you really enjoy driving cars this is where it takes a back seat to the German cars. The engine has a fine, actually more than fine but the trans lacks solid shift points and the suspension is a bit sloppy. Over this car is definitely worth the money and even though it has a few performance issues, it is still a lot of fun to drive. I think my favorite aspect of the car is that it acts like both a luxury car and a sports sedan. Depending on your mood, you can have either.

2026 G70 3.3 Sport Prestige

I wish Genesis would’ve carried some of the features that were on the 2025 model over to the 2026 model. A little disappointed that at 8k miles, I’m already having a coolant leak and they’re having to remove the entire engine to see what’s going on.

Beautiful Blue G70

I traded in a 2023 GV80 Prestige Signature and although I was very happy with it, I don't regret for a second trading it in on my 2026 G70 3.3t Sport Prestige. The car is amazing and yes I could have purchased a G80 or G90, I have no regrets. I purchased the G70 in Scottsdale, AZ and drove it home to El Paso, TX. The ride was amazing and the full economy was outstanding. I know I could have driven it home on 1 tank of gas. I puchased this vehicle on March 20, 2026 and have 735 miles on the odometer. I own 2 vehicles, my other vehicle is a 2024 GMC Sierra Denali EV, so no fuel required. I also had to wait for title transfer and new plates. Every time I drive my G70, I am so pleased.

Compared to my Lexus ES 350. I prefer the Lexus over the the Genesis. As far as ride confort, and quite. But it is totally unfai6to do so. Since the size of these two vehicles are so different.

G70 Great Balanced Ride

Great balance of handling, performance, and comfort at a good price point. Other vehicles considered during the acquisition process included BMW, Audi, and Subaru WRX. Everything considered, the G70 came out on top.

The car is good. I should have tested the G80 to see if it had the feautures of my prior car, 2019 Toyota XSE. I was told that the G70 had all of the features of my 2019. After I purchased the G70, I found that the trunk was smalled, had not front netting to hold packages, has a problem when filling the gas tank, has very tight rear room and can only comfortably seat 4 people instead of 5. My 2019 had a sporty paint job. I find the color of this 2026 ok but the model itself feels standard, plain. I am looking to see if I can find somewhere to get (perhaps) pinstriping. I had a 2012 Genesis Coupe. It had great style and shot onto I95 when I needed speed. I loved that car.
