Great Vehicle

I just wanted an SUV. Two weeks after getting the GV70, I was driving to the gym when I realized I actually was enjoying the car and its features/comfort. Totoally surprised that I liked a car. It really is a pleasure to drive!

Love the car. Service and parts departments is a nightmare!

The car is great overall. The only part I do not like is the infotainment system. It is too complicated and too intertwined. Hard to use Apple Car Play. As for dealership service and parts, I have visited 3 different dealers. You can not get the concierge service to come out to you unless you book months in advance (this was one of the selling points when you go to buy the car). All dealers are disorganized, unresponsive and require multiple follow up calls. Parts take several months to come in. It's very hard to get a loaner when you take your car in for service. I have even dealt with the corporate office, who was a disappointment as well.

exceptional experience

I had the misfortune of purchasing my car when Genesis was not an independent dealership. The experience was terrible with nonexistent follow up on questions that I had regarding how to utilize the features that came with the car. I am happy to report that that dealership had it's franchise removed, and my car is now serviced by a standalone facility. I LOVE MY CAR and feel appreciated by my dealer.

I have owned 2 new Genesis vehicles. They are great cars.

I get discouraged about service because I have to drive over an hour to a Genesis dealership. I also have had issues with service. Otherwise, I am satisfied with the overall vehicle.

Wonderful vehicle

This is a wonderful vehicle in the class of midrange SUV. My only complaint is the lack of truck space, but that is not a deal breaker. The amenities that come with this vehicle is great for the price point.

I love my car, but…

Love the ride, love the drive,love the look, love the feel… So many things to love. I’ve had two difficult experiences with my car. The first involved some bodywork. It was very difficult to find someone certified to fix Genesis cars. The second experience was that I had difficulty with performance on the road. The car was shattering and I had to stop for service because of an engine light came on only two dealerships in the state. I was worried that I’d be stuck out of town overnight because of parts. not good. This is at 20,000 miles with a two year-old car.
