Fantastic Car but Warranty Service Now Distant

My GV70 is a fantastic vehicle. Beautiful and tasteful inside and out; great features, smooth and very quiet ride - I love it. What I don’t love is that 8 months after I purchased it, my Hyundai/Genesis dealership (20 minutes from my home) surrendered their Genesis franchise due to Genesis rules requiring free standing dealerships. Closest warranty service is now 2+ hours away which is unacceptable. Genesis should allow dealerships to provide warranty service for Genesis vehicles they sold even if they subsequently surrender the franchise.

My second Genesis

Love my vehicle but really do not like the dealership or the service you get. I was happy with my first Genesis and the people at the dealership in McKinney both sales and service. I was forced to buy my vehicle at the Plano dealership because Huffines has made this the sole Genesis dealership in the area. If I didn't like the car so much I would by a didn't vehicle due to my treatment there both on the sales and service side. They keep blaming the reason for their poor service o being overwhelmed by handling both Hyundai and sole Genesis dealership. Genesis advertises a premium experience but doesn't deliver. Service area is shabby, Rude people and free valet is a joke. Again excuse that they are understaffed.

My Genesis GV70

So far so good but it would have been better if it was hybrid. Seems everything is going electric but downside is, there’s not that many stations for that purpose as we live in a rural area. That’s why I wanted a hybrid at least I can drive it in cities and long remote roads.

Very good looking vehicle with high quality materials. Car could be more nimble

With fine a fine interior, smooth ride and plenty of power, car is a pleasure to drive. Tech is abundant and useful with only a few omissions e.g. auto lane change, head-up display for navigation. There is a tiny delay is acceleration that makes the car feel sluggish when you suddenly need to start moving quick. The mobile app is great, you can locate the car, lock and unlock the doors, and even activate the cameras remotely and check the car surroundings. However my app stopped working for no reason at all and I have not had time to troubleshoot. Scheduling the car for maintenance is a nightmare, many options are offered but none of them work. This is an area that requires serious improvement.

Great Vehicle, challenging service

Overall wonderful vehicle. Had a battery problem that took 4 weeks to get fixed. Also local dealer closed. Which has crested service nightmare. Had mixed experience with customer service. No response from letter to corporate officers. Vehicle had to be towed for service.

Great SUV

Luxury vehicle that is stylish, quiet and handles the road well! Has a lot of safety features and is on par in my opinion in comparison to the higher end vehicles out there. You can do so much with it if wanted to go all out. Great SUV and an eye catcher.

The 2023 Genesis GV70 is at the forefront of Technology .

The 2023 Genesis GV70 is a great automobile. It has every convenience one would want within the price range we could afford in retirement. The technology has come a long way in automobiles and is visibly evident in the GV70. The Glendale dealership was very easy to work with and they did everything anyone could ask in making sure our experience was a good one.

My Genesis GV70

I am thoroughly enjoying this vehicle. It handles smoothly and is beautiful. It has the luxury I want at a price I can afford. Fuel efficiency is important to me with today’s gas prices. The gas mileage is good. The only thing I dislike about my vehicle is the drive for servicing. Unfortunately, there are no authorized dealerships in my area.

Great Vehicle

This is a great vehicle for the money. I'd research other brands and did not come close in horsepower and styling that this car offers. I do wish they would of given the option to put in Nappa Leather seats in the Prestige model instead of the mess inserts that are in the 2023. Wish there was an option for red caliper breaks as well. Very satisfied with the vehicle to date.

Very satisfied with the car and the service

Anthony was my dealer who assisted me w getting my first GV70 from genesis. He was very fast at responding with my requests, very willing to answer my questions as detailed as possible. He also drove to my apartment to directly drop off the vehicle for me. I would definitely recommend this dealer to anyone who considers getting their genesis car.

So Far So Good!

I love driving this car. It is responsive and sporty. The interior is pure luxury. This car surpasses many of the luxury models that I have driven and lower in price . I love the warranty which is what drew me to it initially. Then I test drove it. That was it! It's only been a month but I am extremely happy with my decision so far!

Very Pleased with my new GV70!

I am very impressed with the options on this vehicle. There are so many, it's been fun trying them all out. The GV70 is a solid, smooth driving SUV and very comfortable to drive. I drive alot so comfort is at the top of my must haves for a vehicle. Had a little glitch where the Genesis Connected Services stopped working but within a couple of weeks and another rest and everything is working fine. Although having this vehicle for about a month, it feels like it will stay this way forever. I got the Melbourne Gray matte finish, and this turns heads! Very pleased with my purchase.

Genesis outdoes the Germans

I just replaced my BMX X3 M40 with the Genesis GV Sport Prestige. What an upgrade! To my eyes this is the best looking mid-size SUV on the market, it’s way more comfortable and quieter than the BMW and drives like a dream. Every time I get in this car I don’t want to get out. The quality level is outstanding and the cabin a work of art. I can see me owning this car for many years to come.

The staff at Jim Ellis were fantastic. They made this purchase extremely easy. The sales person David Kim drove us home because my wife didn't want to drive our second car back to the dealership. During the trip David explained and programmed all the features.

This vehicle is very well designed! There are many features, that others in this class do not have. The style and function are wonderful! The seats are extremely comfortable! Elegant design with many advance driving assistance features

I have been impressed with both exterior and interior designs of this car. It can tell easily that Genesis has done their homework. I have owned Japanese cars since I got my driver’s license, and Korean brand has come a long way. They have been using similar business model from Lexus, and that’s part of reason why we decided to purchase GV70. Hyundai build quality has improved over time, so hopefully they either carry over or enhance that to the Genesis brand. We also considered NX and X3. All three cars are really nice. As a Toyota and Lexus owner we love the new improvement Lexus did on the NX. The X3 transmission is the smoothest one I’ve ever driven. We tend to keep the car for a long time so quality and reliability weights the most for making our decision. Given the improvement of Hyundai build reliability and the overall styling of the GV70, it wasn’t a hard decision to make.

My first Genesis product and so far I'm very pleased with my choice. Lots of head turns when people see it. I get good fuel economy around town in the ECO mode. Technology features are many and I enjoy them and makes driving more comfortable and safer.
