This is a great car mechanically speaking, but the electronics are unreliable, inconsistent and poorly designed.

Great Vehicle

My GV70 was my first vehicle purchase after driving larger "family hauler" vehicles. I was looking for something smaller, sportier, and more luxurious. The GV70 delivers on all fronts.

One issue

So far nothing major, car drives great, gas mileage acceptable, insanely comfortable seats on any drive, especially a long one. 2 Issues of concern with one possible nothing. The speedometer screen twitched a few times but remained in place, hopefully not a sign of an issue. The one issue I have is after washing my car the proximity door access does not work for hours after sometimes. I was told this is some sort of safety feature, but my daughter has a Hyundai with the same recognition system, and she has never had an issue. I guess time will tell.

I have experienced issues with the Iphone connecting properly and an over rev issue sometimes on accelleration. The wiper blades perform poorly.

Love my GV70

I love my GV70. It's comfortable and fun to drive. The only thing I wish I had in the car was a place to put my phone. The charging compartment also charges my phone and I don't want to have it charging every time I get in my car. I do use a cup holder, but if someone else is in the car, I have no where to put my phone. The reverse lights are very small at the rear of the car. Most people can't see that I am reversing. Other than those two things, I am very happy I chose the GV70.

Genesis GV70

Overall very satisfied with vehicle. Very comfortable ride and very quiet. Interior and exterior design is very stylish and luxurious looking. A little concern about exterior paint durability. In less than a year I have had 3 chipped paint repairs - never had an issue with other cars. During initial driving when outside temperature is cold (in 30s) transmission shifting is clunky. But overall very satisfied with car so far.
