Good but not Great - Work to Do

Comfortable, good looking and contains most features one would expect at this price point. However, its key misses (lagging software, unavailable digital key except for highest possible trim level, and horrible gas MPG) means there are many better vehicles in this price category. If you’re going to compete at this level, do it right the whole way.

Don’t buy without checking that your local dealer might drop Genesis

I love my GV70, but Genesis is forcing the Hyundai +Genesis dears to build new building for the Genesis line. My dealer dropped the brand instead of building a Genesis exclusive building. Now my dealer is an hour and a half away. That sucks!

Genesis GV70

I love the car. It looks great, handles well, and is a pleasure to drive. There's not much to point out for you to consider. Sometimes, not often, when I start the car I need to reboot the system to get the audio back up and running. The dealer guys showed me how, and said it isn't uncommon. Also, I wish it took regular gas. Finally, my trim package doesn't include front end collision warning. I wish I knew that when I bought the car. I probably would have purchased the next higher option package. There's a lot of tech in the car - more than I will ever use. But the engineering is impressive. Overall, I'm happy with my Genesis.

Switched From an Audi Q5

I've been disappointed with the highway gas mileage with the 4 cylinder engine. It also gets jittery in the snow with the standard Michelins. I'm going to have to buy snow tires for next year. Hood rattles sometimes at highway speeds. Mechanically, it's been good.

Gas Mileage and Trchnology Fall Short

Gas mileage is terrible. More like a full size SUV than a mid-sized SUV/car. Technology features are over-engineered and make things annoying rather than helpful.
