Annoying problem unexpected in a premium vehicle.

The automatic engine stop feature has never worked consistently. No help from the dealership. Very frustrating.

A minus

Outstanding handling, design, and comfort. Need to fix adaptive cruise. Worthless on roads with bends or curves like Interstate 79. Even on least sensitive setting reads signs, guard rails etc and abruptly slows down vehicle. My wife's new Palisade is the same. Our Infiniti and Acura doe not have this problem with adaptive cruise.

In the beginning

Comfortable, super safe with ridiculously complicated electronics. The wheel shift and second wheel are annoying as is the lag for the turbocharger to engage.

Very nice but has tech issues.

This is a very nice luxury car with a comfortable quiet ride. Interior and exterior are well finished and has a luxury feel. It has good acceleration but lacks torque. The biggest problem is with the technology. There are many glitches. The wireless charger says it is charging but it does not charge. The phone just gets hot. The finger print sensor for driver settings does not always work and it is a hassle to have to wait for it to load and to be changing each time a different driver has to use it. The back up camera sometimes get stuck for several minutes before it finally re-sets to the regular screen. Etc etc.

Axle issue with only 15,000 miles

Have had the vehicle in for service 4 times to fix bearing, then axle, now the other axle. Nearest dealer is 4 hour round trip to boot.

Sold with known defective rear differential. Dealerships in central ohio dirty and not a luxury brand feel. Car is nice after repaired.

Still Smiling After 17 Months with My GV70

I’ve had my 2025 GV70 3.5T Sports Prestige for 17 months now, and in that time it’s been completely trouble‑free with just over 9,000 miles. It still looks and drives exactly like the day I bought it. I downsized from a full‑size pickup, and the GV70 has been a perfect fit — comfortable, quick, and genuinely fun to drive. I still smile every time I put it in Sport or Sport Plus. The power and handling make every drive a little better, and I’m reminded why I chose it.

Would be an almost perfect car if not for the necessary login each time, lack of fingerprint recognition and no ability to permanently shut off the Auto Start-Stop feature.

Excellent Vehicle

I absolutely love my 2025 Genesis G70! From the moment I saw it, I was taken by how gorgeous it is. The design is sleek, sophisticated, and eye-catching-it’s a car that looks beautiful sitting still and even better on the road. But what really impressed me is how incredibly smooth the ride is. Driving the G70 honestly feels like driving on clouds. It’s quiet, comfortable, and refined, and every drive feels effortless. Whether I’m just running errands or spending more time on the road, the ride quality makes the experience something I genuinely look forward to. The interior is another highlight - there’s plenty of space, and everything feels thoughtfully designed and upscale. The features inside are amazing, and the combination of comfort, technology, and attention to detail makes the G70 feel like a luxury vehicle in every sense of the word. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my Genesis G70. It’s gorgeous, incredibly comfortable, spacious, and packed with features. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy driving it.
