I LOVE MY GV70 IT IS JUST THE RIGHT SIZE FOR ME . I WOULD PREFER THAT THE INDICATORS FOR A CAR NEXT TO YOU WOULD BE INSIDE THE CAR, AS IN VOLVO'S.

Terrible customer service and tech support

I bought my 2026 GV70 paid cash on May 7th. The connected services has never worked. Corporate customer service is a joke and bounced me around different case managers without resolution. The dealership doesn't pick up the phone to schedule appointments to address the issue. When we did manage to get an appointment they refused to replace the head unit and acknowledge the email that corporate had sent me regarding the head unit. It's been nearly 5 months and the customer service is an absolute joke.

Love this car!

I love my car. The red leather interior is beautiful with the white pearl exterior and makes it look very high-end. The entertainment center of the vehicle is the nicest I've seen, with 17 speakers and a touch sensor screen that extends from the driver door to the passenger side of the middle console. The car holds the road very well, is not top heavy, and keeps the car between the lines on the road without any effort. The driver does have to keep a touch on the steering wheel but very lightly. My only complaint is that it does not have the power to immediately accelerate quickly like I would like.

Please open a dealership in Westlake Village, CA. Honestly, I will not buy a Genesis if there is no dealership in Westlake. I will go back to an Audi.

Genesis 2026

Have had two major issues since I bought it just over 2 months ago. The backseat belt wouldn't come out and they had to fix it and it took almost a week. Then the front seat beat stopped working and that one they were finally able to fix it after 3 days.

Early Impressions of 2026 GV-70 2.5T

This is almost the perfect commuting / road trip vehicle, but for the poor gas mileage and rough idling. Based on EPA ratings for this turbo 4-cylinder, I expected better than 16 MPG in city driving and an average combined of 19.5 mpg over almost 3,000 miles. That adds up when you use premium fuel. Everything else is spot on - styling, comfort, intuitive controls, ride, noise suppression, etc. This is not a vehicle to take hard through turns, but it handles well and is responsive. Sport mode made the steering unnecessarily heavy, but the Comfort and Eco modes work well. Looking forward to a hybrid version of this vehicle to address the fuel efficiency shortcomings and will be the first in line for one.

In the shop after only 2 months

The vehicle is beautiful. Sadly, it has been in the shop for going on 2 weeks (I've only had it 10 weeks) after the AC module (computer that controls the AC) malfunctioned. They tell me they cannot get the new part ordered because it is not in the ordering catalog yet. I have no clue when I am going to get my car back.
