Highly rated, but why?

As much as I have liked driving this vehicle, I don't see it as being anything outstanding. Several times when making changes on the AC, the radio has suddenly come on. I then have to play with the controls while driving (not a great idea) to get back to Apple Car Play back. Speaking of which, Apple Car Play doesn't always connect right away - a chronic problem with many cars I've owned. And no one has been able to satisfactorily explain (other than it's probably a money issue - who has to pay who) why, with all of the advances in technology made in the last decade, I can see route guidance on my heads-up display when I use their built in route guidance system, but not when I use Waze. The garage door buttons were a bear to get working. And my spouse would like to have the seat massage function in passenger seat too - why just the driver?

Navigation and cell phone connection

I connect to waze all the time in the car. It constantly just shuts off. The first time I used the wireless charger, after an hour it overheated my phone and shut down my waze navigation. It also completely disconnected my phone from the car and would not reconnect. When I use the wire to charge my car it is very slow to charge. My phone also gets hot which I have never had happen charging a phone in a car before.

Best Car I Have Ever Driven

I was a loyal driver of 2 luxury lines of crossover SUVs. this is the first Genesis I have ever driven and although I was hesitant to venture into a newish line of cars, I took a chance and there is no turning back. It offers a smooth ride, utter luxury, quiet interior, and power to brag about.

Great car

Extremely nice and well executed vehicle with just a few minor nits. I would like to have a card slot in the driver’s visor and a few more manual controls but otherwise I enjoy the GV70.

Great for the money

Purchased 7/25 a 2026 before tariffs became active. Value for the money was great. Now price in past year have jumped significantly making the gap smaller compared to other vehicles in this class.

Luxurious and Beautiful

Love the beautiful lines of the vehicle! Looks like a Porsche or an Audi without the “status symbol” of the brand. I love flying under the radar with a not (yet) so well known brand. The comfort is outstanding and the ride is smooth.

This is a great car! Beautiful style, great to drive. However there is an air noise that makes u think a window is not closed all the way. Seats are very comfortable as well!
