I am driving a loaner

My 2026 GV70 has about 13000 miles on it. I have enjoyed having it very much. But twice in the last two months, on parking the car, when I turn the engine off a beeping, that sounds like front parking sensor goes off and CANNOT be stopper. The first time I called the 800 number and the lady did everything she could think of. But nothing stopped it. Finally I went to the closest dealer, parked the car in front locked and beeping, but by the time I came out with a service guy it had stopped. My dealership took it in for diagnostics but could find nothing. Then several weeks later it did it again. This time I drove (10-12 miles) to my dealer, Genesis of Kennesaw, Georgia, and thankfully the service team got to heat it. The shop foreman was baffeled. It has been there almost a week. He's taking it home with my permission to "put some miles on it" and see if he can get it to "perform." But HELP. We have a chance to go to Charleston in two weeks and cannot drive the loaner out of state. The GV70 is our only car. Thanks for listening. I'm sure this was not what you wanted. But we do love the car. We drove it Atlanta-Denver roundtrip in July and it was great.

car is good, not great

Have had issues with some of the infotainment systems. The Valet Alert mode continues to send me email notifications as well as in car notifications of it being driven by a Valet. I turned it on to see what it would do/say. I then 'deactivated' the Valet Alert, and yet it CONTINUES to send me the email alerts - every single time I stop the car - even to get gas. It also CONTINUES the in car alerts - again, I have 'deactivated' the Valet Alert. This is unacceptable to me. Additionally, the gas mileage the car gets is incredibly LOW.

Genesis GV70 Vehicle Review

The vehicle is super comfortable and roomy. The turbo engine is a plus. In my price range I did not like the limited interior colors.. black or white. There are a few items that I had in my Murano that I wish this vehicle had. Overall I really like the vehicle. Wish I had bought it, in lieu of leasing, I would be more comfortable in the wear & tear driving. The only super negative negative thing I will say, is I hate the Auto Stop!!

Bought the car at the end of December 2025. Every time I back out the garage, the brakes make an irritating squeaking noice. Initial acceleration when in drive seems a little rough.

I feel so good in this vehicle!!

So glad we took the time research out next vehicle, because Genesis GV70 ranked number one in our choices. Not only does it have everyone we were looking for and in need of in our next vehicle, it gave us things we did not realize we needed and wanted. It is a smart, luxurious, elegant SUV.

Almost Perfect

The 2026 GV70 is a beautiful machine with one cosmetic flaw. The inner console does not have much room. The middle compartment blocks full accessibility to the open space. Other than that, it is a smooth ride with a fast pick up. Accessories are amazing. Body is sleek and luxurious.
