Overall I really like this vehicle. There are a couple of quirky items, but the good outweigh the quirky. Its fun to drive, with plenty of pep.

Tired of having problems with this vehicle

I had to have the rear differential replaced with less than 11k miles on it and less than 1500 miles later… it’s back in the shop for more problems with the new differential. I don’t feel safe taking this vehicle anywhere far. Also the dealership frequently doesn’t have loaners available which is frustrating. I am moving and will be living 4.5 hours from the nearest dealership with a vehicle that’s proven to be unreliable. Also lots of other small issues like trim pieces popping off or the forward safety setting constantly resetting itself etc

Good not great

We had to have it fixed multiple times for rat damage to the engine wiring. This is a known defect but you refused to do it under warranty. One of the times was because you left it in a field for months and not repairing it. Your dealship refuses to pick it up fir service and refuse to give us a loaner also due to having Prigressjve insurance???

The Genesis GV80 is sleek, comfortable, advanced technology and affordable compared to its competition. The Genesis stand-alone dealership and service is incredible. I researched this vehicle for 2 1/2 years before I made the decision to purchase. I have not been disappointed.

Excellent car but poor service

My Genesis is an excellent vehicle, but the service provided by the dealership is terrible. Nothing like the great service I received with my Lexus.

Poor Service experience.

I brought my car in for annual service along with a noise when the left passenger window was rolled down. When my vehicle was dropped off afterwards, the window problem was not addressed. The service advisor was untruthful when indicating they were unable to replicate the problem. Eventually, I had to bring in my vehicle three times before it was fixed (ripped car door molding). Also, the Services advisor had indicated that a loaner vehicle would be provided when I brought my vehicle in the third time. However, when I arrived, one was not available, and the service advisor simply didn’t care. I escalated the problem to the service manager, who subsequently provided me a loaner vehicle.

excellent vehicle but terrible service with Crown

I love my 2024 Genisis I had a 2021 and got the 2024 I had planned to get a 2027 GV80 but I am a bit reluctant to do that because of the Terrible service from the dealership Crown Hyundai. One of the bright spots of owning the GV80 was the 36 month maintenance free guarantee and valet service with a loaner. Crown is terrible for getting a service appointment and they have never been able to supply a loan. They have a driver come out by Uber pick my car up and when it's returned he calls an Uber driver to pick him up. He waits at my home for the P/U. Very bad service department which makes me think about another choice of vehicle I think something should be done about this in order to keep your customers because the car is great.

Miserable ownership experience

Car makes so many beeps and sounds for no reason it is incredibly annoying. Terrible fuel efficiency. Rear doors do not unlock with keyfob in hand or pocket. Driver cabin storage is terrible and insufficient.
