Overpriced luxury

Just basically a really nice looking car. I "treated" myself to Genesis... And even though it is "value" compared to other luxury - I wouldn't buy one again. The GV80 I bought was Prestige "top of the line" yet I probably would have been fine with the base model as so many unnecessary features were added to this model (that I didn't need - wouldn't use - or wouldn't be able to figure out how to use) when all I wanted it for was the 3.5T - which was only fun in Sport Mode - otherwise you had to push the pedal at least halfway for throttle response - which I cannot stand... If you don't have high expectations for performance and just want a nice looking luxury vehicle that's a good value and Genesis reliability: Here you go. With 22 inch rims it looked like it would be a fun car to drive. It wasn't. I sold it and haven't missed it for one day.

NOT Happy at all regarding service and quality of electronics

My appointment is scheduled for Oct 15th. They will now only do valet for the recall service not my regular service and warranty issues. This is terrible news as I bought this car for the service contract. Genesis closed the Westlake and Van Nuys dealer so now I'm have to drive 1 hour and Half to get my service done. They will NOT provide valet. What a mess!!!! Also, I have serviced my car at Santa Monica a couple times for the warranty electronic issues which they have not done a good job with. Very unsuccessful. So I'm asking for a Lemon Law charge and to buy back this car. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Philip Kramarczyk 818.324.5570

GV 80

Overall I love my GV 80 vehicle. It has a handles well and has so many buttons available that I still haven't been able to use them. Drive wise it has a bounce to the front that they have tried to fix but was not able to figure out. Other wise it does handle speed and turns well. Something else I'm unsure about is that when it rains the sunroof bug catcher flaps but when dry you don't hear it at all. Love the long screen for the dash and the big space for the trunk. The app that you can use with your car to remote start and check the cars health is great. I do appreciate the fact that if someone has parked close to me, I can use the key fob as a remote control and move the car out so I can get in without hitting the car next to me.

It used to be Genesis cars would come fully loaded, now they are being sold with different trim levels that encompass all the options they offer, but even at those levels the vehicles still exceed what the competition offers for a better value
