Best value among all the luxury SUV's

Genesis is the real deal, they don't nickel and dime you like the German brands, and they build a superior product

2026 GV80

I am able to make a direct comparison with my wife's 2024 M/B GLE450. Both cars are within a fraction of each other in size, weight, and horsepower. I have to give it to the GV80 in almost every category except fuel economy. It is fast, solid, comfortable and for an SUV, not bad in the handling department.

Genesis 2026 - GV80 3.5 Prestige

Hello - Great vehicle! I can only think of 2 changes I would like: 1. Option of either 3rd row, or no 3rd row and it has a full size spare tire. Not everyone will use the 3rd row. 3. Gas cap that has to be screwed off. Can this be eliminated ? Other vehicles don’t have to screw off the gas cap.

Annoying, but drives great

Comfortable ride and handles well. The annoying part is the dash/entertainment system. Multiple ways to do the same thing which makes learning more difficult. Strange mixing of controls for dash displays and audio. Integration with Apple CarPlay is inconsistent (may be Apple's fault) for some apps like Spotify and Sirius. The dial on the console can be manipulated up and down/sideways and also scrolls but these actions act differently depending on the menu. Touchpad just leads to errors. The default activation of cruise control includes lane-following too, even though there is a button for each, often I want to just use cruise control alone . When in driver assist mode it asks repeatedly to keep my eyes on the road, when I already am. I read on the internet that this is because I am wearing sunglasses. So in many environments I find this function unusable. Key fob is inconvenient. In reverse, side mirrors turn down (good) but sometimes when shifting into drive they don't come back up (bad). But the ride is nice and that is the most important thing I guess. I just wish they would get the user interface right

Genesis needs to make this car better

Genesis has a great platform but they took too many quality short cuts building this car, nobody needs 22 inch wheels, why is the sun roof poorly insulated? Why is the glass in the car so cheap and not IR blocking glass?? Why is the infotainment system so awful and glitchy? Why does it not have massage seats like the G90?!! Only the front "strench" seat is absolutely useless it needs to be at least 2 front massage seats!!! I am extremely disappointed with my GV 80 and I will go back to Mercedes.

I LOVE my Genesis GV-80

I recently purchased a brand new Genesis GV-80. I'm so impressed with the luxury, comfort, technology, smooth ride, and whisper quiet engine. I am often stopped and asked by people what kind of car it is and will ask how I like it. They too are impressed with the beautiful, classy design. Prior to owning this car, I had two Cadillacs and thought I would stay loyal to them forever. But my mind has been changed! I love my Genesis!
