Fun fantastic car

Love our Elantra GT. Our 2013 still looks stylish and is peppy and fun to drive. I have other Japan and European name plates, but I like the GT the best. It is the right size for driving on Oahu. I actually think it looks more exterior visually stylish than the new 2018 models. The panoramic roof is nice and makes an open feeling on a smaller car like this one. The engine purrs nicely and the dual automatic for manual shifting is awesone. The narrow tires and rear do feel more bumps on poor Honolulu pot hole roads, but on the freeway it rides better and there is a space saver tire on the boot. All good, thanks Hyundai for a keeper.

The most reliable car I've ever owned

OK. I must own up to my past actions with respect to caring for a car. This is only the second new car I've owned in my lifetime, but the others were pretty new when I bought them. I've always changed the oil in 3000/4000 miles, mostly followed the manufacturers suggested maintenance and always had a serious problem with the car, usually before 50k miles. Presently, I am at 45k with my 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT. Nothing! Not a squeak. Not a "funny thing it does". Not a piece of plastic that broke on a vent. Nothing! The only wear item I've needed to replace so far is the tires. And that's because of a blowout from running over a hunk of steel at 70 mph on an Interstate. I suppose to most people this is standard, but to me, it is amazing. I would totally recommend this car to anyone looking for a new car. Hyundai will most definitely be the replacement for my POS Jeep Grand Cherokee when I decide not to shell out another one or two thousand for a flush, required maintenance, idiot light warning. I just hope the whole line of Hyundai's are the equal of my Elantra.

I love my car

I love my car, I wish I had gotten the model with the sunroof but at the time I couldn't afford that particular model.However, it is great on gas, it is spacious and it has taken care of my needs so far. I currently am expecting my second child and there is room in the back for both of my children to sit comfortable. When I moved, I used my car to move little things to avoid getting a large moving truck. The hatchback aspect really was beneficial in fitting a lot more in the car. All in all this car was my first new car purchase and I do not regret a thing.

I wish that the truck had more room then it does. The truck lid/door sloops down and cuts part of the room for carrying bulky items. it doesn't get good gas mileage either.

Love it

I liked my sonata. But I love my Elantra GT. I've done tag sales at friends homes and they can't believe how much stuff I can pack in it. Also it gets great gas mileage! I'm a petite woman, and I love how well it handles and how easy it is to park.

My 2013 Elantra GT

A fun car to drive. Peppy and very good mileage! The easiest car to care for I ever had. The factory red paint is super good! Tires wore out a little sooner than expected. Rear visibility is hampered, but I knew it would be going in.

I am enjoying the drive handling and styling.

Car Handles very well even in winter, it is Roomy, can fit five easily and have, good enough pick up for a small engine, very good gas mileage, and styling is above all others in it's class.

Best car I ever owned

After 68000 miles I still love it. It has given me no problem, it gets great gas mileage, and it can hold a bunch of stuff. It is the perfect car for me.
