The most reliable car I've ever owned
OK. I must own up to my past actions with respect to caring for a car.
This is only the second new car I've owned in my lifetime, but the others were pretty new when I bought them. I've always changed the oil in 3000/4000 miles, mostly followed the manufacturers suggested maintenance and always had a serious problem with the car, usually before 50k miles.
Presently, I am at 45k with my 2013 Hyundai Elantra GT. Nothing! Not a squeak. Not a "funny thing it does". Not a piece of plastic that broke on a vent. Nothing! The only wear item I've needed to replace so far is the tires. And that's because of a blowout from running over a hunk of steel at 70 mph on an Interstate. I suppose to most people this is standard, but to me, it is amazing. I would totally recommend this car to anyone looking for a new car. Hyundai will most definitely be the replacement for my POS Jeep Grand Cherokee when I decide not to shell out another one or two thousand for a flush, required maintenance, idiot light warning. I just hope the whole line of Hyundai's are the equal of my Elantra.
