Love my Equus

Not a Lexus. . . it's better! I drove the Lexus LS for the past 20 years (four different years) and opted to give the Equus a try. I won't ever go back to Lexus, as this vehicle exceeds my expectations.

Great car -- extremely reliable

When I hit the ignition button it starts. No exceptions. Ride is smooth, and, especially, quiet. Great service support. Super luxury care without having to pay Lexus, BMW or Mercedes prices (and frequently get less in warranty and features with these three!).

The 1st king

2011 ?. 50K + Miles. We have had some issues repaired under warranty and the car is back to full health. I actually prefer this car over my wife's G90!

Equus is great

I love driving this car and I really appreciate all of the comfort that it provides. When traveling it is roomy even for 5 people and the truck is so large that we have no problem fitting all of our luggage in it. I would recommend this car to anyone that really enjoys traveling by car.

Very nice car

I purchased a 2011 Equus Ultimate used. It had 34,000 miles. I've had a Jaguar XJ6, Lincoln Towncar, and Toyota Avalon. This is by far the nicest car I've ever owned or driven. Great luxury, super features, outstanding value, and absolutely no complaints after 8 months of ownership. You can pay an extra $25,000 for a lexus, BMW, or Mercedes. But why?

Best Car I've Owned

My Equus has been the best car I've ever owned. It has exceeded my expectations and continue to standout. Always get the surprising disbelief of it being a Hyundia but immediately followed by "wow that's nice". It's truly an amazing vehicle.

BEST VEHICLE I'VE EVER OWNED!

I'M COMPARING IT TO MY BMW 5 SERIES, MY BUICK ROADMASTER, MY OLDS 98, AND MY LINCOLN CONTINENTAL. RIDE IS EXTREMELY COMFORTABLE. HANDLING IS GREAT. POWER IS HIGH--SO EASY TO GET TO 75MPH FROM FULL STOP IN SUCH A FEW SECONDS. THIS 2011 MODEL HAS A 4.6 LITER V-8 THAT RUNS ON ANY OF THE THREE GRADES OF FUEL . . NEWER MODELS ONLY USE "HIGH TEST" GASOLINE. I'VE TRIED ALL THREE GRADES AND GOT THE SAME GAS MILEAGE: 28MPG HIGHWAY AND 23MPG LOCALLY. THE AUTOMATIC SPEED CONTROL WORKS GREAT! WHILE ON THE HIGHWAY OR A LOCAL STREET, ANOTHER CAR CUTS YOU OFF AND THE EQUUS SLOWS DOWN OR STOPS IN ORDER TO AVOID THE COLLISION. WHEN THE VEHICLE IN FRONT MOVES AWAY, THE EQUUS ACCELERATES BACK TO THE SET SPEED YOU PROGRAMED IT TO DO. I NOW HAVE OVER 142,000 MILES ON IT, AND THE ONLY SERVICE NEEDED WAS A NEW BATTERY AFTER THE FIRST FIVE YEARS OF DRIVING. NO OTHER CAR THAT I OWNED GAVE ME MORE FOR MY MONEY WITHOUT ANY ADDITIONAL EXPENSES SINCE OWNERSHIP. PS: THIS VEHICLE IS ALMOST SEVEN YEARS OLD, AND ONLY TWO MONTHS AGO I GOT COMPLIMENTS ON THE DESIGN OF THE VEHICLE SEEN BY OTHERS ON THE ROAD. WHEN ASKED WHO MAKES THIS, THEY ALL WERE SURPRISED TO HEAR THAT IT'S A "HYUNDAI."

Reliable

My 2011 Equus has over 147,000 miles and I have experienced very few issues with it 1. Replaced alternator 2. Diode in brake lights (at a cost of around $350).... Was it covered under recall #125. I am not sure. Otherwise a very dependable car.
