My Equus…

I been wanting this year and body style since I began selling them back in 2013 as a Salesperson and now I’m driving this 2011 as a personal vehicle. I love the smooth ride and enjoy all of the features it provides and the benefits it delivers for both the driver and the passengers.

Excellent Value

The Equus is a technically advanced, nicely styled high vale car. Features and styling compare well with BMW 7 series, Lexus LS and Mercedes at a fraction of the price. However, it seems like The commitment to this model is secondary to the Genesis. The is no commitment to all wheel drive even though Genesis has had for a year. I will look elsewhere without that commitment.

most comfortable ride

This vehicle gives you more luxory for your money than any other car that I have, even an old Rolls that I once owned. The only shortcoming ----it could use a little more power.

The Equus

I am now 70 years old and This is by far the best vehicle I have EVER purchased. It's a 2011 Equus and I have owned many vehicles purchased brand new and I have never had a smoother ridding, almost maintenance free vehicle. And the service following the sale has been OUTSTANDING over th years I have send this vehicle. We have traveled from up north to down south to the Low Country on at least three occasions and from the Low Country to New Orleans on 4 occasions and the ride and handling was a pleasure. No matter where I park this vehicle, I get the same comments: This car is beautiful! Who makes this car? The interior is beautiful. It a great looking car! The dealerships in Holyoke, MA; Slidell, LA and here at Hilton Head Hyundai has been marvelous!!!!!!!! Hyundai you've built a GREAT AUTOMOBILE!!!!!!!!

Outstanding

This vehicle is a joy to drive, I refer to it as my "BABY." My wife and I have made several long distance travels in this vehicle and it is extremely comfortable and a pleasure to drive. This vehicle is five (5) years old in fantastic condition and I still get comments on its looks and style. Hilton Head Hyundai has done an outstanding job on servicing my Equus. It runs like a Swiss watch with German engineering and styling, but developed and built by HYUNDAI. If and when I need a new vehicle it will be another Equus.

Great drivers car; especially for passengers

Love it. Plenty of room. People have no clue how well this car is built til you drive it and when you hit the highway. Especially the option of having the hydraulic lift when going over a speed bump, deep puddle, or steep incline. Only one thing that would keep me from possibly buying another car from Hyundai. Its an older model..yes. But, why didn't they update the computer so I can keep it synched with proper OS on my phone? Simple. They want me to spend another 70k for a newer model.

Quality Vehicle

The Hyundai Equus is a quality vehicle that is too notch in its class. I am impressed with the features of the vehicle and would consider purchasing another on in the near future. The only concern for me is for Hyundai to work on an improvement of the rear window shade to prevent early wear and tear. Overall, it is a nice vehicle to have.

Vehicle Reliability

I have owned my vehicle for about 6 years now and overall it’s been great except the airbags on suspension went out along with alternator. I perform all required maintenance on vehicle and for the price it’s been money well spent...I have my eye on the Genesis G90 but am waiting a year so all bugs with launch of vehicle can be worked out.

Hyundai 2011 Equus

I am really enjoying driving the car , I have one concern about not being able to update my navigation and not able to listen to music with my phone through the USB port. Told they do not have any way to update the gps poor design making the consumer suffer behind their lack of vision.

2011 is a good year

Impressive automobile. Every drive is enjoyable and comfortable. Interior accessories are top notch. Exterior paint extremely resilient. V8 engine and tranmission run extremely smooth. Superior styling.

Chrome wheels

I love my Equus. BUT just found out that all four of my chrome wheels are pitted on the inside which destroys the seal. Hyundai has had many complaints but so far has refused to accommodate any replacement credit. Yes the car is 8 years old but never had a problem with any other car of even more years and greater mileage. Hyundai needs to provide relief. These are $900/wheel. I'd be happy with a less expensive replacement.. This car is a 5 star in all other regards. If you have had a similar issue please contact me at jerrold.kamensky@gmail.com.

Good car but hard to fix.

Perform nicely but hard to fix if problems occur. (Discontinued model.) It's great to own hi-quality cars for mid-class price. After drive 10k miles, trying to find new to replace. But it's discontinued.

excellent car

I bought the car in 2012 unexpectedly after test driving it. The car is beautiful, all the qualities described below, however I wish Hyundai was able to find away for the vehicle hold its value better. after owning the car for 7 years for what the vehicle was worth the value at this time is less than 50%. if I wanted to trade it in id get minimal for it. Also you get spoiled with the service provided at the beginning. After the lease is up they just treat you like any old customer.. LOL
