2017 HYUNDAI IONIQ is a GREAT car

We have owned the car for about one month. Love it. The optional "tech package" adds a LOT of important safety features such as adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, drift out-of-lane warning, rear cross traffic monitoring in parking lots, etc. We have owned many new cars over the years but so far this is the BEST one.

The car is fun to drive and can really pick up and go! The handling around turns isn't as great as my last vehicle but that just comes from being a little taller.

First time Hybrid owner

Love the car. Great gas mileage and wouldn't have it any other way. Not stopping every 300 miles for gas makes this a great car. It can go over 600 miles before I have to stop for gas. Beat that!!!!!

First Time Buyer

Love this vehicle. The exterior is stylish and it handles smoothly; I save a $100/mo on gas which was my primary reason for purchasing a new vehicle. It deducted one star because the traction control and brake warning lights came on after owning it for less than a month. When I took it to the dealership, they were unable to diagnose/replicate the cause for the alarm; I am forced to take a "wait and see" approach which has me uneasy. I did not pay for a brand new vehicle only for it to start having issues within the first month. I remain optimistic, however, and would still recommend this vehicle to anyone I know, especially if you purchase it from a Priority dealership. Priority has a lifetime warranty on any part of the vehicle that they work on in their shop, so it will be money well spent. I look forward to driving this vehicle for many years to come.

Lots of problems

I've had nothing but trouble with my Ionic. Three days after buying the check engine light goes on. It seems after 4 trips to the service dept for the same problem, they say it's a computer glitch. Yesterday the entire system shut down. Car completely locked up. Every warning light came on and car completely disabled. Service manager at dealership is unavailable suddenly. Obviously they don't want to deal with it anymore. Don't buy this model.
