Love my Ioniq, great 70 miles per gallon, only spend $25 per fill-up every other week, Apple play for all GPS needs, roomy interior, cute car seat fabric, LOVE this car!

i love the car...gets great mileage and is comfortable to drive. two suggestions for improvement : make heated steering wheel standard and add a wiper to the rear window.

Disappointed with Ioniq mpg

When we purchased the Ioniq, the sticker quoted 55 mpg. We are averaging 35-45 mpg and are driving mostly in economy mode. We are extremely disappointed in the mpg we are receiving.

My 2017 Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid

I have owned more than ten cars and so far this is my favorite. I love the style and the color (electric blue metallic). It handles very, very well and is a joy to drive. With careful driving I can get 70 mpg combo town and highway, which is absolutely amazing. The sports mode makes it feel like a different car and is fun to use (infrequently) in traffic. I like all the displays that show fuel and battery usage, it makes it easy to drive economically. The only complaint I have is that after driving over four hours non stop, the seat feels a bit hard.

The Hyundai Ioniq was not my vehicle of choice, I had my heart set an purchasing the Hyundai Elantra. However, once my salesperson showed me the Ioniq Hybird I was in love.

I love the gas mileage!

Averaging 60 mpg in the summer months. Have gone up to 64 mpg one week when most of the driving was around town and am conscious of it. Usually get 58 mpg highway when staying within the ballpark of the speed limit. When in sport mode at a stop light acceleration is crazy! Have smoked some muscle cars off the bat. They eventually catch up and pass of course due to their bigger displacements. Have been getting and average of 56 mpg these colder months which I attribute to the winter blend fuel and cold denser air that affects aerodynamics. Brakes are great but tend to grab as you come to a stop. Ride is comfortable. Suspension works well as long as you don't push it. It is not a sports car after all. Wants: Better headlights and a rear wiper. An option for a sports version would be nice. A spare tire. Overall, I'd buy one again in a heartbeat . It does the job. It gets me from point A-B safely. I am one of those eccentric millionaires that could buy any car I want but chose not to. I choose to drive an Ioniq. And no, I am not a tree hugger. Lol! I used to drive a minivan getting 20 mpg. I did the math and at today's gas prices, I save almost a thousand dollars driving the Ioniq vs the minivan over every ten thousand miles. It's a no brainer!

New Ioniq

Since the Ioniq is a new vehicle for Hyundai for 2017, I was a little hesitant about going with this vehicle. You know the old adage "Let them get the kinks worked out in the 1st couple of years". I've now had the car for 5 months, and although that isn't very long time-wise, I do have over 7,300 miles on it already. And I am SO pleased. This car is a real winner for scooting around town, and it also handles a long road trip well! I knew I'd get good gas mileage with it, but it is staying consistent at over 53 mpg, so I am over the moon about that since I drive a round-trip 60+ miles per day for work. Can't say enough good things about this car. I do wish it was a little higher off the ground for standing water, etc., but the mileage is a great trade-off for that. Excellent car, Hyundai!

Love my Ioniq!

If you are looking for a sporty, stylish car that gets GREAT MPG and is also a great value, the Ioniq is it! On bad days I only get around 55 MPG but sometimes, on long interstate rides, I can average 65-67 MPG. The car is great for interior space and it handles very well. It isn't sluggish on acceleration like my last hybrid car.

Really good and meet my expectation

It comfortable and very silent when it moves using EV mode like I am driving an electric car. It showed up to 60 MPG if you drive carefully and showed over 50 MPG whatever the conditions. It meets my expectation and I am using almost every day for my commutes.

Great MPGs...At A Cost

The Ioniq Hybrid is a great vehicle for those commuting that strictly need a great MPG car to get from point A to Point B. We average about 51 MPG combined and love not having to fill up very often. The entertainment system is fantastic and Android Auto gives you a GPS automatically, so there is no need to get the upgraded model. However, the road noise and the sluggish acceleration, make it a tough choice if you've experienced some of the more refined competitors to the Ioniq.
