Great value

I regularly get 60 mpg with this car and sometimes even higher. I also own 2 Toyota Prius C's. In comparison, the Ioniq has much more room and higher mpg for a much lower price. Very glad we went for the Hyundai.

Best styled hybrid on the market

I absolutely love this car. It can make it from Los Angeles to Austin on three tanks of gas and the battery always charges itself up a few miles on flat land. The car is the only hybrid with a hatchback that doesn’t look like a weird wanna be futuristic design.

Great gas/elec hybrid

I was dead set on returning my Prius and picking up the newer Prius model for my next lease. Toyota made this virtually impossible. Newer model was AWD and the raise in price was substantial. So I searched "cheapest hybrid lease" and came across the Hyundai Ioniq. Very cool car for the money. I will say this though- they got my foot in the door with advertisements of incredible monthly payments (due to rebates), but beware the "0 down" quickly goes out the window in the financing office. They WILL tax the original MSRP cost of the car. This was nearly a zero-hour dealbreaker for me. I was very disappointed in the lack of transparency there and almost changed my mind. You can plug it in (if you choose to) in a standard outlet but it will take about 8 hrs for a full charge. And it would mostly get depleted in my 17 mile drive to work. HOV EZPass (NY state) is a necessity for me.

The best plug in hybrid.

The best plug in hybrid. I compared with toyota prius and honda insight. The best value, style and quality. I like the fuel economy and comfort. I like quality of the interior and infotainment. The sound system is very nice.

Awesome Car

Best hybrid battery warranty. Drives like a dream. Easy to use controls, Apple car play makes using my phones music and navigation so simple. Heated seats are great on those cold morning commutes. I love my car.

Wonderful vehicle for my needs

I couldn’t be happier with this vehicle. In fact, I’ve become a more mileage conscious driver because of the Ioniq. My only issue was with Huntington Beach Hyundai’s service department so, I just use another dealership when I need a service department

New hybrid

Use more gas than electric due to lack of ability to plug car in. Would use more electric if it could be done easier. Like the features on this car especially heated seats and remote starter, and back-up screen on dashboard.

Hyundai Ionic

I purchased this vehicle for work. Owned a Honda before this vehicle. Liked the looks better than the 2019 Insight. Wanted to be environment friendly with a hybrid. The gas mileage really impressed me. Lots of power on the interstate for a hybrid.

hybrid plug in is amazing!

I wasn't looking for an EV car but it ended up being much more affordable than i assumed and had all of the features I loved about the Elantra. It's drives very smooth and the average gas mileage is incredible even when running on hybrid

My Hyundai

I like the car. Its a bit underpowered, but otherwise an economical and fun car to drive. I especially like the heated seats and sunroof. The hatchback design is exactly what I wanted and is used a lot. Honestly, I don't use all features the car has, but for what I need a car for, the Ioniq was a good choice. So far, it's been very reliable - I hope it stays that way.

This Ioniq is a wonderful car. Great gas milage and very sporty looking. Good handling and comfortable in front and back seats. Plenty of room in the trunk. Awesome car to own and drive. Would highly recommend Centennial Hyundai.

Lives up to expectations

I wanted a more fuel efficient car that still performed as well as any other car I’ve owned. I wasn’t ready to go fully EV, but was not completely happy with other hybrids I had driven. I loved the responsiveness of the IONIQ and the appearance while still boasting a great MPG. I’ve only experienced one issue, being a broken sunglasses compartment after less than a year of ownership. Otherwise, I’m super happy with my purchase and would definitely make the same decision again.

Very satisfied with my hybrid!

The fuel economy is great (50-52 mpg in summer, 47-49 mpg in the winter) even without trying to be energy conscious. I actually seem to get better mileage in the city. If I pay attention, I can almost drive through out the city in the battery alone. Not going to win many races, but has enough acceleration to make you feel safe on the merge or entering traffic. The split rear window takes some getting used to, but it quickly becomes a non-issue. The only ‘issue’ I still have (had the car for 2 years, 29k miles) is when I am at the front of the line at a red light, and the engine turns off, and I still say to myself “I really this car start when the light turns green”, and it has never let me down. I preferred the hybrid of the electric because I didn’t want to worry of plugging it in somewhere.

Great car, great fuel economy, poor dealership for maintenance.

My Ionic is fun to drive and very economical

The handling of my Ionic is great on cornering and long distance driving. We now take the Ionic on trips instead of our Camery. But why not at 55 miles to the gallon in town and 65 miles on the interstate average. Our best was a trip to Maryland to a fully loaded and 70 MPG. I have received several good comment on the sporty design, as well as interior roominess.

Most reliable vehical ever and 60MPG to boot

This vehical is what you need if you have a long commute or just enjoy spending less on gas total. This is the most reliable car I have ever had. Put over 90K miles in 2 years of owning it and have only ever needed to have oil changes, tire rotations, new set of tires, and ECU adjustments. No engine, transmission, steering issues.

I had another hybrid before and this car is so much better looking and stylish. My wife was not hooked on it until she took it out of town. Wow! This car is fun to drive, comfortable, performs well, has great features and super great on gas.
