I have owned this car from 2008 new. Now has 200,000 miles and drives like new.

Great SUV for work and pleasure

Bought this Veracruz once we started having grandchildren. I also use it for work which requires substantial highway driving. The car is comfortable and well appointed. My only negative comment is the loud and sometimes hard suspension. Otherwise, a pleasure to drive,

2008 Veracruz

This vehicle has just passed the 100,000 mile point and still runs, looks and drives like new. This is the best overall car I have owned. There were teething issues with the trans software but after that the car has had no issues. It has the fit , finish and quality of a car MUCH more expensive car. I am a happy owner!

We love our Hyundai Veracruz

We absolutely love our Hyundai Veracruz. It drives like a dream, has NEVER broken down on us and has taken us on many road trips including Saskatoon, Canada in -15 degree weather. A very solid car. Roomy. Handles very smoothly.

Too bad Hyundai dosnt understand their customers

Would go back to Hyundai to buy a new veracruz. but alas they dont make them any more , My 2008 was rated superior to the lexus suv IN EVERY RESPECT except the dash simulated walnut was not up to par with Lexus, at $10,000 less!. Go figure! Have severe reservations in choosing any company with such poor grasp of the market place and what builds customer loyalty.

I see why they stopped making the Veracruz

I love my Veracruz, don't get me wrong, it seems though, to have some motor component design issues that have caused me to keep my vehicle in the shop. Also, the paint on the front of the vehicle is coming off.. no rust, so I'm not sure why. However, I've come to love Hyundai vehicles because of the Veracruz, I will continue to purchase Hyundai.
