HYUNDAI— PLEASE START MANUFACTURING THE VERACRUZ AGAIN !!!Most reliable and best vehicle I’ve ever owned.

Most reliable and best vehicle I’ve ever owned. I have put an enormous amount of mileage on my vehicle and have had very few problems with it. As a matter of fact after over 220,000 miles, the only things that have gone wrong are the battery has either died (which is to be expected) and the alternator has had to be replaced. Recently I’ve had to have work done on the air-conditioning but that was after 200,000 miles. I’ve had to do some transmission work and a motor oil leak also, but that is also because the car had over 200,000 miles on it at the time. Eventually any car or SUV it’s going to have some problems as it gets older but for the first 150 thousand miles, I had no problems whatsoever. Otherwise it is an outstanding vehicle and I am very disappointed that they have discontinued it. When my Veracruz is no longer functional ( which hopefully will be a long time in the future), I don’t know what SUV I should purchase.

Vera Cruz SUV

I love my Vera Cruz. It’s spacious and a great ride. Sorry that they are not manufacturing it anymore. It also has great features that was with the vehicle. The style of the Vera Cruz is what caught my eye and loved it since the day I drove it out of the Hyundai Waipio Dealership!

2008 Veracruz is reliable

I had no issues so far since I purchased this vehicle January 2009. I used this car for daily commute. I bought Honda accord 2013 which I already changed to another car due to many critical and safety issues but I still keep this Hyundai Veracruz. This is highly cost effective car.

The best and most reliable motor vehicle I’ve ever owned.

The Hyundai Vera Cruz is a phenomenal vehicle. Hyundai did a great job in designing this SUV. It is reliable and I’ve had very few problems with it. I don’t know why Hyundai discontinued it, but they should seriously consider bringing it back.

Bring Back The Veracruz !!

I will keep this Car forever and Pass it on to my Family !! A Classic Car !! I also own a Santa Fey and have owned 3 other Santa Fry’s and a Tucson !! Wanted to buy another Veracruz but can’t find one through the Dealership . The Veracruz was and is a Great Car !!

Cruising with Vera!

I think it has a great ride. Great handling. Goes through snow very well and the ice. I love the 3rd row seat. Don't use it as much as I did but my grandchildren don't all need car seats anymore. Was part of the reason I bought it. Only wish I got better gas mileage.

Unexpected Great Car

I bought this car used. I'd never owned a Hyundai so didn't know what to expect. Although I think I paid too much the car has been the most reliable car I've had in years. This even takes into account my brand new Toyota Sienna. The negatives are: not great traction in wet and snow, I need a place for my purse, fuel economy could be better and the A/C took some figuring out. Still, like I said it rarely needs a visit to the mechanic.

Love my Veracruz

I've had my VeraCruz for 8 1/2 years. I've put 88,000 hard miles on this car and have had very little problems. I love the roomy 7-person seating, and the price is extremely reasonable for a car this size. My only complaint is that some interior parts are cheaply made and prone to breakage (I.e. plastic center console latches.) I have several broken latches , not that it's a huge deal. Otherwise, this is my second Hyundai, both of which I have been pleased.

150,000 miles and are starting to experience problems.

Up till now experience has been very good. Recently (after 140,000+ miles), have been experiencing several problems such as steering, valve gasket leaking and toe-out alignment with front wheel. Otherwise, have been pleased with the Veracruz.

This vehicle just really good on the highway to Intown miles are not good. My vehicle is very spacious and would love to DVD player for the kids to be in the back we also live the headset that came with the DVD player so I can still listen to my music while the kids are watching a movie and keeps the kids very nice and quiet on the long drives that we take back and forth to Grandma's house

I see why they stopped making the Veracruz

I love my Veracruz, don't get me wrong, it seems though, to have some motor component design issues that have caused me to keep my vehicle in the shop. Also, the paint on the front of the vehicle is coming off.. no rust, so I'm not sure why. However, I've come to love Hyundai vehicles because of the Veracruz, I will continue to purchase Hyundai.
