First SUV

I am REALLY HAPPY with my Hyndai Veracruz. I wasn't looking to purchase a Hyndai BUT I am glad I did. This is my first SUV. I am a minivan mom and was looking for something different. I am in LOVE with my Veracruz.

It's nice car. It's low mileage and I buy this car when it was 45000 M, it had alittl damage from I front and the back. It's now car and it full and it nice car to drive. I had changed for it pamper and resulted support but I did buy them from the Hyundai company. Every thing were a now and from the dealer.

Generally this has been a good vehicle with 58k mikes and 6 years service

I think Hyundai made a mistake discontinuing this model still looks current in design. My only gripes have been a constant alignment issue, lots of wind noise above 60 mph and the fact that both front door handles have broken. At +$200 a pop this was annoying. They are not covered under the factory warranty OR my extended warranty.

serves it's purpose

Since I've had my Vera Cruz, I've had some occasional electrical issues and blown fuses with unknown causes. I've also had poor luck with battery life. Are these issues to the brand/quality or did I just get a lemon, or I don't know. Overall though, it has been comfortable for my kids on long drives and it does have a good size trunk space. For a family, this car is very useful.

Well PLEASE

I love my 2012 Veracruz, haven't given me much trouble. It's not fuller loaded, just basic.I enjoy it,don't use a Lots of gas, run very good.I keep oil change update.and my tires. It's roomed, that I enjoy. I love the color and the way it made. My car run very quiet and smooth, Enjoy driving it. Sorry I didn't buy it fulley loaded , I mean with all of the new accessories that in cars.Sorry didn't get leather seats.

good value just one problem 3 times have had to replace valve cover gaskets. Most items that broke have been covered by extended serice contract I was sold when we bought certified pre owned. Glad I got it.

Vercruz 2012

Love, love , love my Vercruz. I can't believe they no longer produce this model. They are the perfect fit. The ride is smooth and it handles easily in any weather. The only real complaint for me is the clock and temperature re-out.....can't read it at the angle they have it mounted.

Overview of vehicle

I am the type of guy that buys a car that I like, puts little mileage on it and keeps it for 8 to 10 years. So warranty is important to me. The only two problems to me were that the hatch back door would open on it's own both in my current vehicle and prior Vercruse. My dealer corrected this problem. The second problem is that my glass roof panel would not close. I never used it more then 6 times and find that it is a $1,500 problem due to the AZ sun burning out the tracks. Tough Luck on my part but no more glass roofs for me as I do not use them.

Nice car.

This is one of the best if not the best car I have ever had and I've had several. I really like the Bluetooth cell phone. It has every feature I could want. The steering wheel folds up when I turn the engine off. Neat! The power is adequate, ride is smooth, love the cruise control, can haul just about anything, I leave 3rd row seats down for added cargo space. It's not as quiet in the cabin as I would like. Not great mileage, getting 16 miles to the gallon. That's ok, so many Nice things it does.

2012 Veracruz LTD

Pity this car was discontinued. Comfortable ride, good quality finish, good fuel economy if treated with care. Excellent leather seats. No repairs after 100,000 miles on my 2010 version. Only disappointment is in the car locking mechanism which is expensive to repair. Small issue when no other costs except tires and oil changes.

Hyundai Veracruz

Bought the Hyundai Veracruz new at Wilson County Hyundai in 2012 and have made a number of trips to Florida and Texas . I purchased the 6 cylinder to have that extra bit of power. Most 6 cylinders have the power of the older V8's and with all foreign cars the suspension is tighter. Still gives a good ride on the highway. Have been well pleased with overall performance of this SUV.

Great vehicle

Nice engine 3.8l, great space very nice ac. Runs very good, lots of leg room. The vehicle has great ride height. Powerful 6 cylinder engine. Front and back ac. Power steering is very nice. Seats all stow completely away for lots of storage room.

My 2012 Veracruz

I am pleased with my 2012 Veracruz from Hyundai. I only wish the car was 1 foot longer so my wife could put the kitchen sink in the back when we travel. The vehicle preforms well on long trips as well as short hops here in town. I have been waiting to see the latest model now for over 2 years. When is it coming? I had a 2011 and was offered an upgrade by Hyundai and have been very happy with the deal and the performance of the 2012 model. The gas mileage on my last long (over 500 miles) trip was over 24 mpg with a full load; around town it's usually over 19 in normal weather conditions. My major concern is the absence of a center platform between the 2 front seats for drinks and snacks when we make long trips. Any suggestions?
