All in all a pretty good vehicle.
The gas mileage isn't exactly what was promised on the sticker. There have been some problems with the vehicle and the dealership in Commerce Township where I bought it is horrible. They don't keep their promises and they don't keep Good records and if I didn't keep my copies they would think that I was never even there. They've changed managers so many times and also changed service managers. At least that was their excuse for messing up so badly. I've been waiting for more than 2 years for a seat cover that was ripped when I bought the vehicle. They have lost the paperwork many times and claimed that I never came in and I had to prove to them that they already gave me paperwork and ordered my parts. They never return calls and they never keep their promises and I mean never. I have had so many times that they would tell me that someone would call me or manager would call me and it never ever happens. I'm still trying to chase them down to get my seat fixed from day one. They also miss diagnosed problem which cost me $700. I told him there was a problem with the screen in the car and that it would intermittently black out and it would constantly lose my information that it programmed in every time I plugged my phone in. The USB in the vehicle destroyed one of my phones and I was unable to use it for charging first year and a half that I have the vehicle. I assumed there was a short and told them that it intermittently happened. They took the car in and kept it for more than a week and then told me that they could not find any problem. I noticed that there was no additional mileage on the vehicle when I picked it up and it had a layer of dust on it. I don't think they tested it and I don't think they even tried. In any case they didn't find any problems with it but as I was driving home, the same exact problem happened again. They told me that they updated the computer and they thought that might solve the problem because they did it when they first got the vehicle in so never could find any other problems. As it turns out, I found out what the problem was and another dealership. I had a defective battery that was causing all the problems with my screen as well as my instrument cluster and ultimately caused the vehicle to shut down and not be able to restart. I had to get my vehicle towed and I had to find a way home for my family during a major rainstorm from about 30 miles away from my house. Very very disappointing. The dealership in Canton identified the problem immediately and they asked me if I was having problems with my instrument cluster and my radio and screen. They told me the problem from the beginning was that I had a battery with a bad chip in it was easy to detect but unfortunately because of the mileage that I had on the vehicle, it was no longer under warranty even the problem from the first week that I had the vehicle. So they cost me a tow and over 500 bucks for a new battery and labor which is ridiculous and unnecessary because they couldn't figure out that there was a problem with the battery from the beginning not to mention having to have all the problems with the vehicle until the problem was finally found. The battery has been replaced now and everything has been working perfectly for the last 3 months. Still haven't gotten the seat cover replaced and now they're telling me that since the warranty is up that they're going to have to charge me $1,500. So, the truck is not bad but the people who support it are the worst ever. I don't know how they stay in business. I'm ready for a new vehicle now and I would never buy one from that particular dealership in walled Lake.
