It is a nice car. It is immensely spacious in the front and mostly the back, but the gas mileage, diesel problems, and diesel fluid is a joke. Unlike a Toyota or I'm thinking any other car, if there is a necessity for your oil to be changed, due to your mileage, the vehicle will not turn back on until you get the oil changed (diesel fluid). That was an immensely terrifying experience. There was no dealership open on a Sunday, I had plenty of mileage to get home, and I got stranded at the Volkswagen, couldn't use the restroom at a gas station, and had to sit in a freezing car to wait for the VW to open the next morning. That issue is terrifyingly unfortunate.
