I love my 2002 Volvo S60, which I have had for 24 years!

I love the Volvo S60. It has, according to some, the most comfortable seats in the car world. It is a great size and weight. It runs fine, except for it's goofy electrics. It is four cylinder and doesn't have a lot of boost power, so if you need that, you are out of luck with this car. I recommend that if your car alarm battery fails, to have it disconnected, because a faulty car alarm battery in this car can disturb diagnostics, programming of other components, and create a parasitic electronic drain on other components. Wild, but notorious for this. My dream car is a Porsche Speedster, but this real car of mine is also a dream, in its own way.

Used car

This car is extremely reliable It's safety is okay, could be better Modern fernishings Don't buy used!! This car also has many issues with the forgien parts being confusing, and expensive. However, after the parts make the car extremely smooth and fuel efficient for its age . Only about $45 to fill the tank, each tank gets about 350 miles

2002 Volvo s60 T5

Altho old with many miles on it, it has never left me stranded and never failed to start in 4 years. Yes, it frequently needs repairs, but most cars are not regularly even still on the road with 238,400 miles on the odometer

Expensive to fix

Bought a 2002 and hasn't been nothing but an expense. Maybe I got a lemon or I'm the guy that got it at the point it needed all the expensive fixes.

No problems except...

I love my Volvo. Stylish, safe, nearly performance oriented and the lot. My only issue is that Volvo gauge clusters tend to die out. Which could pose as a safety issue but Volvo refuses to recall and fix it for free
