I have a 2018 Grand Cherokee Trackhawk, which had major transmission issues due to a custom engine tu
ne from another shop and my aggressive right foot. Rick, was extremely helpful in diagnosing the problem, outsourcing the transmission and trans box rebuild and unlocking the PCM for tuning. This was by no means an easy job or a slam dunk, but Rick guided me through the process the entire way with active communication and “outside the box” solutions was outstanding. Would highly recommend and gave me a very generous military discount! 5 stars!
Got my 2010 Sienna back. My son says it is driving better. They always ket me know what NEEDS to be
fixed and what can wait. They know I am handicapped and funds are tight. They don't get me to change things before it is necessary or that doesn 't need it just to improve their bottom line. I have been taken down the "primrose path" before by a shop I trusted and used for many years. My son is the one who checked online, read all the disgruntled, overcharged reviews of the other place and had me use these guys. I have NEVER regretted it. I sing their praises to my friends; the others can find them for themselves.
Our family has saved $7000 so far by using West Laurel Garage. My son's 2014 Nissan was diagnosed by
the dealership as needing a new transmission - $4000. We took it to Tommy and his mechanic replaced the drive belt, solving the problem. It cost about $150.00. Then our Subaru needed a new catalytic converter. Subaru Inc. told me it wasn't covered under warranty and would cost over $3000. Tommy told me they were looking at the wrong warranty and suggested I ask again. It turns out it WAS covered under the emissions warranty, and the repair was free at the dealership. Tommy is as honest as they come and uses high quality parts at a reasonable price.
Everyone knew what was needed; the records of prior service were outstanding, and there was no pressu
re to have something done. Josh does an outstanding job in having your car serviced and talking to you about your needs.
