Re- scoring after getting contacted by George Secoff
I am giving George and Hyundai a re-score because I was contacted the day I posted my previous experience with the services on Feb 11, 2022. I appreciate that he took time to contact me and ensured me that this will not happen again. I was honored a detail for this unfortunate chain of events, but over all my main reason for posting my previous comment was to raise awareness and accountability. With that said, I look forward to giving Puente Hills Hyundai another opportunity in the future.

Poor service
The advisor I was given, George Secoff, made assumptions as to what I qualified for. First, without looking at intake info( mileage,etc). Secondly, he didn’t even bother looking up my vehicle info regarding my warranty coverage. Returned car incomplete. Basic service of topping fluids, even after I specified I needed windshield fluids topped. I had to go in the next day to get finalized.

A wire or cover seems to always be left without being put back
The last 3 visits, a wire or cover has been left without being put back in a place where i would have no idea where to put. This last visit i believe a cover was missing all together. Having to drive back is t a problem but it’s an inconvenience. The service other than that isnt bad. Just pay attention to what could be missing in regards to the car part that was used.

Service Center is Amazing
George at the Service team is amazing. He worked with me on a holiday weekend to address my immediate needs. As a long time Hyundai driver, I do have to say I am disappointed with quality changes in my new car and the challenges I’ve had with it since driving it off the lot. Six months ago I would have told you I’d never buy another car brand - I can’t say that now. And I wish Hyundai would be more responsive to those concerns. Recall issues related to electrical engine with less than 5,000 miles on my car is an unacceptable situation in 2021. Wind noise through windows in a premium model also unacceptable - especially considering it wasn’t an issue in previous models I’ve owned. Hyundai’s response to those concerns is the most unacceptable of all of these points. Again - Service Team and Dealership is amazing. I will think twice about Hyundai in the future as a brand.

While I was overall satisfied with my service, some minor issues made it seem to me like it was worth a 4 out of 5 stars. But they called to discuss these issues with me personally which has never happened when I've filled out surveys in the past so I'm so pleasantly surprised by this that I'm more than happy to revise my review. I think they should check everything in the multi-point inspection they claim to (like tire pressure) but otherwise they do a good job.
