Mr.Shateak, I am sorry to hear you are unhappy with our service. You brought your vehicle in to check brakes, stating they are locking up. Upon disassmbly of the rear brakes we found the right rear electronic e-brake was not responding. We then proceeded to a computer diagnostic to attempt to reset the electronic e-brake system. We also communicated with you when the diagnostic went from $80 to $125, so we would all be on the same page. Luckily, resetting the system we were able to get the stuck caliper to respond and return to its position, hence resolving your issue. You were charged the $125 plus taxes and fees. I am sorry sir, but we cannot avoid taxes, we must collect them. Your total came up to $142.44. I am not sure where we went wrong. We advised you of the price from the beginning up front before beginning the work, we updated you to let you know that proceeding to a computer diagnostic the price would go to the previously agreed upon price of $125, and we charged you exactly that plus the unavoidable taxes. You came in on a tow truck and left with your driving and braking just fine. I'd say that's a job well done!
