First Rate Shop!
For the 3 out of 4 men - like me - that don't physically work on their own cars and trucks, it's often easy to be cynical about finding good repair shops because there's no way for us to easily verify that work is done correctly and safely. That's why it is so satisfying to find a repair shop that IS trustworthy. And I have found such a place: Matt's Alignment and Brake. Another shop had told me that my Toyota truck needed new brakes, front pads and rear drums, with the total estimate being a very sizeable sum of money. Being leery, I asked Gemini to give me a list of brake repair shops in Clark County with the best customer comments, and Matt's was on the list of 4-5 shops. The reviews were accurate, because I had the same great experience! When I called for an appointment, Steve at the front desk was very positive and welcoming. Once they had inspected my truck, they called and said that my pads still had 30% left and that the drums didn't need replacing, it's just that one was rusted on (Matt's got it off). When my wife and I went in to pay, we both remarked how clean the whole shop was. And I was surprised about how many things they do - they are literally a full-service shop! Like oil changes, timing belts, electrical, shocks, struts, & complete suspension repair, HVAC, tune-ups, emissions work. Give Matt's a try! I certainly will be back!
