Went to viking for engine analysis. Received estimate for parts and labor for $1000.00. Excepted bid after reading reviews thinking they would be honest and reasonably priced. Checked prices for parts at autozone and found maf sensor for $60.00 and purge solenoid for $99.00 with lifetime warranty. Time to replace both parts half hour if your slow. Confronted them when I went to pick car up. After finding out it took 5 mins to replace one part, he dropped the price of labor. Didn't drop price of labor on second part that takes less than 5 min to replace. Ended up paying $148.84 for diagnostic, $296.76 for maf sensor and labor and $160.04 for purge solenoid and labor. Maf sensor was cheaper than purge solenoid and less time to install. Got an expensive lesson. Wouldn't go back ever! Even if parts fail. Posted viking business card at work for businesses to avoid, and will tell all my coworkers, friends and family to avoid doing business with them.
