Dependable

My wife has been driving this vehicle for years and it seems to still be going strong. We bought the car used from a friend around 2010 and the only issues we have had are just regular maintenance. My wife loves driving it

Last of the series. Not as good as previous years or similar models.

60Second Mod for this model. Previously owned Pontiac and Buick with same engine/trans set up and had no problems for the 160k driven. This car experienced minor coolant leaks, exhaust system failures, with sub-par paint job. Very strange. Understandable why Impala is being discontinuing.

It Is A Very Dependable Car

I Have Had This Vehicle For 13 years and I Never Really Have Had Any Major Problems With It. It Has been A Very Reliable Car. I Would Most Definitely Recommend It Too Others. It Is Very Comfortable Too Drive.

Good gas mileage

I'm pleased overall with my 2005 Chevrolet Impala. As a widow, I need to have a safe, dependable car, along with having good gas mileage. For a larger car, the Impala is the ticket to happy motoring.

My car rolled over 300,000 miles yesterday! It runs great and has been relatively low-cost to keep maintained. The anti-lock system wasn't designed to last, and has subsequently shut itself down due to multiple bad sensors (I'm actually relieved)...it never worked all that spectacularly when it was working properly. Rust is minimal, given that we drive it year-round and I'm not super-meticulous about washing it. Transmissions last about 220,000 miles. I'm still on the original shocks/struts and springs...still no boat-like behavior. Front-end alignments last for quite a while...its built strong to withstand Michigan's dubious road conditions. GM built its consumer and police versions on the same platform and it shows--super-sturdy!

One of the good ones!

There is no wonder why there are so many impalas on the road! Not just new ones but old ones that last and last. I would recommend an impala to anyone looking to buy new or used. Take care of your impala and it will be worth the price you pay over and over.

My Chevy Impala SS

I LOVE my 2005 Chevy Impala SS! Well built and reliable vehicle with a smooth quiet ride. I'm spoiled by the sun/moon roof and heated leather seats!! The trunk has lots of room and the passengers have plenty of room! Easy to drive and easy to park. Great of gas and is a reliable vehicle to commute to work. Great family car too. My special vehicle is always in great hands at Executive Sunoco! The staff at this service station is always professional and will always explain any issues. My mechanics appreciate me and my 2005 Chevy Impala SS ~

We bought this car used with 130,000 miles on it; we now have 171,000 miles on it and up to now have had only one event when we had to replace the water pump.

We like the Chevrolet Impala very much and would buy one again.

Car runs great!

88,000 Miles and still kicking. I bought the car used and have not had any major problems. Iv'e had several Chevrolet Impala's.
