G70 3.3 Twin Turbo AWD

It’s just pure pleasure in every way! Powerful, refined, wonderful on the twisters, a true but an elegant Hot Rod, Extremely beautiful inside and out, wonderful array of features. It does not disappoint, I’m truly impressed. I would buy it again if faced with a choice.

Would be 5 star if it was not for the Genesis dealership experience

The car drives and handles like a dream (3.3 v6). Fabulous value for the money. The interior is spectacular (prestige, light grey). I was I trig used by the g70 as soon as it was introduced and test drive it as soon as it came on the market (finding a dealership with inventory for a test drive was an ordeal). I love driving my car but I despise interacting with the dealership. Unfortunately not many options where I live. Coming from BMW the car is as good as what old school BMW used to be and better than what new BMW sadly became (no steering feel, ugly design). Unfortunately the ownership experience is ruined by the dealerships.

This car has a nice design, surprising luxury in the interior and exterior for a Hyundai. I have only driven this vehicle 3250 miles and have own it for two years ; so it was difficult to rate the characteristics of my vehicle. It will be the last car I purchase.

Loved the car. Traded it for something with more space in the trunk and back seat than The G70. So I had to give up the genesis line altogether. Would love to go back to a genesis again but unfortunately I can’t afford any of the others or the new SUV. I saw the new G70 and it looks pretty much like the 2019. That forced me to go with an Hyundai SUV

The downside of owning this vehicle is that the interior space is limited, ESPECIALLY in the back seat. The car takes bumps poorly with low profile tires. The engine performance and shifting are excellent. excellent. Gas mileage average. Styling is sporty and very nice.

Genesis G 70

Great vehicle with fantastic performance and 0 concerns. My only complaint is it's so fast and so much fun to drive that I have to make sure I'm aware of how fast I'm actually going. It's my wife's car and she has thoroughly enjoyed it but she does not drive very often and as a result the vehicle only has around 12000 miles after 3 years of ownership.

2019 Genesis G70 3.3T

Great looking car…and you won’t see many others on the road…which gives the vehicle an exclusive feel. Fun to drive as well…the 3.3T packs a punch. However…Apple connectivity issues/poor transmission performance/average audio speaker system/and pulsating brake pads have injured what could have been a tremendous car.

Great value for the money

Totally happy with the purchase of the G70. Looks great in the wild and has a lot of appeal when parked or driven. I’m always happy driving the car no matter the occasion. Car performs and drives well as expected and I’m never disappointed in any of my time behind the wheel.

I enjoy driving and my G70 helps me to get the most out of my driving experience. I feel special as soon as I touch the handle on the door and enter the vehicle. I can just cruise and blend in or drive it hard and smile all the way to my destination. To drive it is to love it.

What a bargain!

The vehicle is absolutely marvelous! Only con about it is the gas mileage. It's not a deal breaker but, every little bit helps. When driving through the mountain roads, you can really feel what the vehicle can do. It holds to the road like the little AFX cars your parents bought you when you were a kid....not to mention the paddle shifting! Wowwww.

Genesis is a nice car

I don't have any big problems with my G70. I think the size of the back seat and the trunk is too small. But then, that is not that important to me since I don't use them that much. I think there are a lot of things I don't know how to use and so I probably don't take advantage of the bells and whistles that are available.

Run boggs down, navigation not so great

Navigation runs from phone app. Not reliable that way. Voice command doesnt understand well either. The engine pick up boggs down when I step on the gas pedal. Scared to pull out infront of anything going fast. Thats a bad issue. I told them about it. Said it was fixed but still does same thing.

Transmission gone at 19,000 miles. 35 Days in Shop

I like the styling of the G70 but it stops there, I have had terrible problems including fully losing the transmission at 19,000 miles. The Genesis Valet program is a SCAM, never get another Genesis during service, always bring a Hyundai. I will not buy abothe one.

LOVE this car!

Absolutely love my G70! Such a great value considering all the safety features that are in this car. I’ve owned Mercedes, Lexus, and BMW’s and this maybe my favorite to drive. Very responsive. Love the dependability and reliability as well. Obsessed with the overall look and style.

2019 G70

Other than the braking problem and limited room for the rear passengers I am happy with the vehicle. Initially the low profile tires were a problem as I had hit into several potholes on the road damaging tire and rims. Fortunately I had purchased insurance from the dealer covering this.

Awesome car

This car we had so so expectations but it looked pretty. We sat in the 3.3l twin turbo and were blown away. Super cool, great finishes, great quality (we have 9000 miles and 12 months of ownership and the car is amazing ABSOLUTELY NO REGRETS! Love the concierge service too. Not quite Lexus or Porsche but pretty darn good.

Preconceived notions....gone!

I first started looking into the G70 when I was ready to drive something more, I guess "grown up" I had purchased a practical yet not really a performance style vehicle previously and was becoming brand loyal to a degree. I am and truely love the BMW vehicles. The handling, comfort, and performance they hit a lot of the cues I love. I am also a huge fan of Audi. Drivability and ergonomics of there vehicles are absolutely wonderful. Clean styling of both manufacturers are also always in my sights. When I was younger my wife and I purchased a Santa Fe. Very dependable we just out grew it then saw a 2016 Genesis Coupe a few years back. I still thought Hyundai...in the 90's they were bad...really bad, but I had good luck with our Santa Fe so being somewhat intrigued at the styling of the coupe then add 3.8 R-Spec...I thought, what is going on with Hyundai. I test drove it...WOW the acceleration and handling was very good...but man it was loud on the inside. I was slightly impressed but then sorta let down. I put the Hyundai question aside...The Hyundai Genesis coupe was supposed to represent the beginning of luxury with in Hyundai...not a great intro but had some vision. Fast forward to 2018. A friend purchased a G80. Okay I don't know who they hired but holy crap this was a much better luxury vehicle than the previous intro...i know it isn't a coupe but they had really changed the game. Leading me to today. The G70 is remarkable. My 2019 is quiet, luxurious, fast, handles so well, styling is clean and the interior touches are just perfect then add in the maintenance plan that includes concierge service for the vehicle, way better than both BMW and Audi. What I thought was still Hyundai has actually formed into something....Genesis.

Great car, horrible depreciation value

2019 Genesis G70 with Sport,Prestige, Elite, Dynamic package. GREAT CAR for value. However, be prepared to keep it for awhile. Horrible depreciation in value....unbelievable....just completely speechless. After 24 months of ownership and all maintenance performed at dealer. Vehicle consistently professional detail to find out car has huge depreciation. We seeking to upgrade to new GV70 when out however with sooo much negative equity not a wise decision.

Best Performance Sedan on the Market

It’s the best luxury sedan on the market for those who want sport and comfort in one package. Absolutely beautiful styling meets reliability and incredible warranty. If only they could build more genesis dealerships that might be able to keep the customers. Such an incredible car, but what an awful dealership experience. The car is so good it was worth suffering through, once.

Beautiful, high performance, luxury vehicle

I love my G70. It's fantastic to drive and beautiful to ride in. Issues with the brakes...vibration and dust. Also was told complimentary oil changes only at 7K miles which for a dual-turbo seems too long. Also, with the work on my brakes, a technician seems to have scratched my rims...Luckily I have the insurance so I plan to have fixed on my next service. Otherwise love the car.
