Overall great car. Needs just a few tweaks.

The G70 looks very sporty and handles really, really well, especially in the snow. My only disappointment has been with the way a few things function and with the quality of the leather seat. I am succinct and have nothing further of any value to add.

I have no comment for this section.

I have already stated that the vehicle is an excellent buy. I have not experience any problems with it. Since I am a sport car person, this vehicle fits my style totally. It is very compact and some of my relatives have a problem with the space because they are really tall often time make contact with top of the vehicle getting in. Otherwise, I am satisfied with the car.

Luxury luxury luxury!!!

I love my genesis G70. Responsive and luxurious and adaptive to the driver. I love the comfort setting and my husband prefers sport. I will definitely be trading my lease in on the newest G70 model or possibly the gV80, but will never leave the luxurious Genesis line!!!

Sharp and well rounded vehicle

When Genesis G70 came out I wanted to test it out. I had the opportunity to lease it so I did without thinking twice because the value I got for the price was over the top. It is a wonderful vehicle - sporty, comfortable, and options galore. I've had it close to two years now and still enjoy driving it around.

Incredible 1st Edition

Genesis has really hit it out of the park on the 1st try with this vehicle. Everyone looks when this car goes past and I can't even count the number of people who have stopped to ask me what this vehicle is or how much I like it. The styling is exceptional, the engine is thrilling, the luxury is on point, and the features and services are better than expected. There are only 2 things that I would want them to rethink about the vehicle, but they are minor things and for the 1st edition of a vehicle pale in comparison to any other comparable vehicle that I have purchased in the past.

sporty performance, luxury, quality and underdog value

I was an early adopter of the Kia Stinger (after extensive research), which was unfortunately totaled after few months of ownership, putting me in the market for a replacement car. The Stinger and G70 share many underlying components including the 365hp engine, Brembo brakes etc. The focus on tech, Genesis warranty and overall value (combined with performance) sold me on the g70 as my replacement car. I compared this to the S5 sportback as a top contender, although the Audi lacked tech & functionality even in their Prestige edition —which would require roughly a $20K price premium compared to my fully loaded 365hp g70. Audi’s questionable reliability, combined with lower HP and tech features, made the g70 a logical choice. As an up and coming car company, Genesis’ commitment to the vehicle via their warranty, car features, and aggressive pricing makes it a great option when considering overall value and ownership costs.

Rate my car a 10...I love everything about my car.

I really love driving my car. I've been very happy with it. I get many people asking me about my car. They ask, what is it, where did I buy it. I went to the store just today after going thru the car wash. Someone stopped my to say how beautiful it is and how clean it is. I have a contract with Delta Sonic so I wash it often.

2019 Genesis G70

The G70 is a tremendous car. From style to performance, comfort and options. Was reluctant to purchase, but the dealership treated us well with trade-in of our Lincoln MKS. There isn't a day when we are in the car that people pass us and turn to get a second look of the car. Great quality and a great dealership to work with. Extremely happy with the vehicle. Highly recommend it.

Affordable Luxury

I think this vehicle is really summed up by calling it "affordable luxury". The drive is smooth and I think this car has a lot of bang for your buck. I think the best color combination is Black on Black as the grill and trim goes well on black all over the vehicle. Interior wise you have to go with the top spec. I think the 3 months no payments and 0% interest on the vehicle was a real game changer for me added with the 36,000 miles free oil changes and valet service really made the value proposition one that I could not pass up. I do not believe this a family car. Although it is not quite a coupe. I feel it is a pinnacle of a sports sedan. I need more room than a coupe but not too much room and I think this vehicle hits the nail on the head in that department. I think the technology is going to be hard to beat and therefore is future proof in my opinion. Sunroof is in my opinion angled just enough to be a sunroof and not a token gesture. Overall I looked at an Avalon TRD, 5 series and a 2020 Sonata. This 2019 G70 was out in front all the way and the additional incentives coupled with the buying experience really made me feel Genesis wants their cars out on the road. My only draw back is as a Genesis customer is I really do not want to mix with the Hyundai customers.

Car #13 The Genesis G-70

Ever since I saw the first commercial touting the G70 in 2019, I wanting to see it...drive it...and then have it! I previously had a BMW 428i convertible. After that dealership wouldn't honor me with a fair price to purchase my leased BMW, I went searching for a replacement. That's when I found the G70 and have never looked back. Well designed, comfortable, luxurious and kind to the wallet. I see more people turning their heads when they see my car. I am so pleased. And the 2.0Turbo has plenty of ZOOM for me. Love to drive it up the winding roads to Sedona too.

Love the car.......it was a loaner car minor dents which weren’t fixed the lease amount is very steep for a used loaner car @450.00 month if the end of lease if it’s the same amount will look for a different vechicle worst dealership I dealt with doubt will go back there

Behind the Wheel of the G70 3.3T AWD

I have owned a significant number of vehicles in my driving life. Domestics, imports from Germany, Sweden, Italy, Japan etc. The G70 3.3T is an amazing vehicle. It is a very distinctive exterior design, very detailed appointments in the interior, quality tactile materials with great fit and finish. The power of the twin turbo 6 cylinder is just crazy - 0-60 in 4.5 seconds. The sound system doesn't disappoint either. Technology is awesome along with comfort - definitely a complete package! Go drive one and see for yourself!!

BUY A MECHANIC SHOP WITH IT

Over Genesis! They talk about being the best at how they service until you have a problem with your vehicle. Becomes mission impossible to get problems fixed. My Genesis spent 68 days at the dealership and problem is not fixed. Consumers affairs Nicollete minimizes any concerns you have with your vehicle.

This is a joy to drive. Smooth ride. Safety features make for a secure ride, The four cylinder turbo engine provides enough power for me and gas mileage is good I have gotten up to 30 mph combined city/ highway driving. When I carry passengers front and rear, they comment how comfortable the ride is. Passengers say they have no problem entering and exiting the vehicle.

Better than the rest!

The car has great power but the rear end slides around when stepping on the gas; which is a little scary. Awesome sound system and clarity. Very comfortable for the driver and front passenger, but the rear is not due to the lack of leg room. The interior gauges and steering wheel is very eye catching and elegant. The leather that was used is absolutely the best I have ever had. Every car that I have owned came with leather and this leather beats them all hands down! Lastly, I continue to own Hyundai products. I have a 2019 Sonata Sport, and had a 2017 Veloster Turbo (dual clutch was crap), and purchased 3 Hyundai Santa Fe Sports. This is a great product with an outstanding warranty.

Love it but not Quite Happy

Last few months have been aggravating to say the least. This vehicle has been in the shop more than it has been in my parking space. I should be some sort of credit for my lease payments. Hopefully it's fixed this time or Genesis can have it back. I'm over the visits to the dealership.

NO REAR LEG ROOM

MOST EXCEPTIONAL VEHICLE THAT I HAVE EVER DRIVEN! PRISTINE quality of workmanship, amazing sound system. A pleasure to drive. However, as I am the only driver, luckily I will never have to sit in the back seat. There is ABSOLUTELY NO leg room in the rear seats!!!!!!!!!! (unless you are a small toddler).

What a car

I’ve owned Mitsubishi evolution’s Subaru WRXSTI both are good cars but this Genesis is though though I had the same cars but just the comforts are so much better I love the car it drives like it’s on rails it’s comfortable I would buy it again tomorrow
