2023 G80
2023 G80, fourth G80 I have owned. Drives beautifully; looks sharp. A different car than the first three. New body style, engine, transmission and technology. Overall, I enjoy the car. Two items that I find a bit frustrating. 1) The technology stack with warnings and alarms is to sensitive and prevalent. There are bells and sings and outplayed alerts ringing frequently. I prefer not to have bells going off in a car when the temperature drops 2 degree and I don’t like front end sensors alerting when I’m in reverse. 2) My vehicle is a problem with snow, whether it’s a thin layer of snow on a highway or snow falling from the sky. First, the air dam quickly accumulates snow, I think it’s the honey comb air dam design. It builds up in a few minutes then works it’s way up to the hood and spreads across the entire nose. Happens in a few on the highway. The snow also covers sensors. Creating either false alarms or technology deactivation.
Other than the snow issue and the alarms, best driving car I have ever owned, the suspension is incredible.
